LAGOS-Main One Cable Company has expressed its readiness to deploy suites that will assist in the seamless integration of businesses with offices in Ghana and Nigeria thereby promoting trade relations and boosting economic growth across Sub-saharan Africa.
Mrs. Funke Opeke, the CEO, while speaking at a Nigeria-Ghana Business Session oranised by the company in Lagos, said that the initiative is driven by sheer reason that Nigeria and Ghana share similar business templates
and are the leading economies in West Africa.
While disclosing that these services are already being leveraged by industry leaders such as Ecobank and Oando, Opeke maintained that there is increased need for connectivity to aide the economies achieve their targets.
“West Africa’s real GDP growth was 6.2 in 2011. The growth is largely driven by Ghana and Nigeria that share similar language, culture and practice. They have simailr business opportunities with great potentials for regional integration of businesses. So, we are creating awareness with our suite on how to harness these potentials for optimal growth,” she stated.
