Aig-Imoukhuede Appointed As Stock Exchange Council’s Vice-President

LAGOS – The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede as the first vice presidents of the NSE’s council

He is to be joined by Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo as the second Vice Presidents of the council.

The CEO of the exchange, Mr Oscar Onyema in a statement announcing the appointments said “the council recognizes their sterling qualities and wealth of experience, and is delighted with the appointment.”

“We believe that they will not relent in their efforts as ambassadors to move the exchange forward” he stated.

Aig ImoukhuedeMr. Aig-imoukhuede is the current Group Managing Director/CEO of Access Bank PLC and chairman of the board of trustees of the Financial Markets Dealers Association while Mr Abimbola Ogunbanjo is the Managing Partner of Chris Ogunbanjo & co (solicitors) and a renowned economist.

The council of the Nigerian bourse is made up of 14 members, consisting of the President, Aliko Dangote, the CEO, Mr Oscar Onyema and other members including representatives of dealing member firms.
