Unity Bank wins CBN, KADCCIMA awards
The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) has rated Unity Bank as the most functional bank among participating banks at the just concluded 33nd Kaduna International trade fair.
Several other banks were among about 60 other organizations that participated in the ten-day business exhibition.
Unity Bank also won recognition as bankers to the Fair, the role the bank has played in the last five years at the fair regarded as one of the largest business gathering in West Africa.
At its special day of the bank at the fair, the Managing Director, Ado Y. Wanka who was represented by Executive Director, North West spoke about the ongoing promo to the banks’ current customers and prospective ones on the chance of being rewarded with cars, LCD TVs fridges and N1million scholarship for their children if you open or grow any Unity Bank Savings Account to a minimum balance for 45 days.
In another development, Unity Bank also won an Operational Efficiency Award in the 2011 Banker’s dinner get together held on March 3, 2012, organised by CBN at the Civil Service Auditorium Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The event was well attended by CBN and Deposit Money Bank officials. The event was organised to encourage banks to improve on their accuracy and efficacy in the performance of banking operations.
