LAGOS: Jobberman and Dymore Vision Consulting have entered into partnership to launch GAPS Academy.
Jobberman is a leading job portal in Africa, while Dymore Vision Consulting remains one of Africa’s leading digital media and social innovation firms.
With over 3,400 video classes and hundreds of topics, GAPS Academy says it is currently the platform with the highest amount of digital learning content in Africa noting that it is also the largest library of learning related videos on YouTube with content ranging from academic to the everyday Do-it-Yourself tasks. Topics already covered include Management, Marketing and Brand Management, Financial Management and Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with more content being put up and optimized daily.
Its focus is on crowd-sourcing the learning process by building a network of stakeholders across the world that are dissatisfied with and willing to do something about the state of education in Africa, the company says.
According to Jobberman, the job portal with the largest list of jobs in Nigeria, the company intends to sustain its leadership with recent trends on the portal that have shown that it is not relenting in its pursuit to impact great value in Africa.
GAPS (Grow-Advance-Produce-Succeed) Academy is led by Dr Anderson Uvie-Emegbo of Dymore Vision Consulting. He is an Adjunct Faculty at both the Strathmore Business School, Kenya and the School of Media & Communication, Pan African University, Nigeria. He is also a Resource Person at the Lagos Business School. At GAPS Academy, Dr Anderson is the Director of Learning. He leads the team that would continually challenge the what, why, how, where, when and who of the learning process.
