Basketmouth Seeks Counsel over Troubled $32m Real Estate Deal

Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has on Thursday, asked his followers to comment on a real estate deal he made 14 years ago.

Basketmouth claimed he paid N32 million 14 years ago as a down payment for a home in Prime Water View Estate, but neither the house nor his money had been returned.

He wrote, “I put a N32 million down payment for a house in Prime Water View Estate 14 years ago.

“They had some issues with the bank funding the project that landed both parties in court. After the matter was resolve, I started hearing all sorts of stories concerning the delivery of the house and the refund.

“14 years later, I’m yet to get my refund, house or even BQ sef. If I call this man/company out now, do you think I waited long enough.”

Florence Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, a renowned disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, has made history as the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024, UNGA, themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”

‘Stop Checking Your Partner’s Phone’ – Yhemolee Urges Couples

Popular media personality, Idowu Adeyemi, known as Yhemolee, has advised couples against checking their partner’s phones in the bid to monitor infidelity.

The nightlifer, who recently married his longtime girlfriend, Thayour B, warned that it can be dangerous to do so, as the information found on a partner’s phone could lead to emotional distress or even pose a risk to one’s mental well-being and life.

Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, Yhemolee said, “My friend called me this morning and told me his fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe.

“I asked if she had any terminal illness and he said no. He said she checked his phone overnight. My point is, stop checking your partner’s phone, if you die, the person that made you lose your life will move on.

“My friend confirmed to me that if his fiancée went through his phone very well, she might not survive and even if she survives, whenever she remembers what she saw, she would be traumatised.”
