Lazarus Muoka Claims VeryDarkMan Faces Consequences For Criticising Lord’s Chosen Church
Lazarus Muoka, the founder of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, has made a bold claim, stating that popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan, is currently “learning the hard way” after making negative remarks about the church.
The pastor’s comments come amidst ongoing controversy surrounding VeryDarkMan’s involvement in the investigation into alleged bribery claims involving social media influencer Bobrisky and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Recently, VeryDarkMan appeared before a joint committee of the Nigerian House of Representatives investigating an alleged audio leak involving Bobrisky. In the leaked recording, Bobrisky allegedly claimed to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to avoid charges related to money laundering.

The audio further suggested that Bobrisky had not served a six-month prison sentence as previously claimed, raising public outcry and prompting the investigation.
In response to the controversy, Pastor Muoka, in a trending video, referenced a statement by VeryDarkMan, who had previously criticised members of The Lord’s Chosen church. According to Muoka, VeryDarkMan had suggested that the church’s followers would “learn the hard way” following their controversial testimonies and the viral phrase “I am chosen,” which became a subject of widespread debate on social media.
In his video, Muoka said, “Somebody came to tell me that one man called VeryDarkMan said Chosen people will learn something the hard way. And I said no, Chosen will not learn something the hard way, he is the one that will learn the hard way. What is happening today? He is the one learning something the hard way.”
The pastor’s remarks seem to suggest that the current investigation involving VeryDarkMan may be a form of retribution for his previous criticism of the church.
The controversy surrounding VeryDarkMan’s remarks and his involvement in the investigative hearing has reignited discussions about the influence of social media personalities in shaping public opinion, as well as the impact of religious organizations in Nigerian society.
Bobrisky, alongside representatives from the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), also attended the House of Representatives hearing on Monday, as the investigation into the alleged bribery continues to unfold.
As this story develops, many are left questioning the validity of the claims made in the leaked audio, and what potential consequences may arise from the ongoing investigation.
