Al Nassr Sign Joao Felix On Two-Year Deal
Portuguese forward Joao Felix has completed a sensational move to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, signing a two-year contract that will see him play alongside compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.
The club confirmed the deal on Tuesday via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Felix, 25, was once one of Europe’s most sought-after talents after completing a record-breaking €127.7 million ($147.3 million) transfer from Benfica to Atletico Madrid in 2019.

However, despite flashes of brilliance, his career has since taken a downward turn, marked by underwhelming loan spells at Chelsea, Barcelona, and AC Milan.
Announcing his arrival, Felix said in a short video clip: “I’m here to spread joy. Let’s win together.” A separate club statement indicated that his contract will run until 2027.
The move is seen as an opportunity for the Portuguese international to rediscover his form under less pressure while joining an ambitious Al Nassr squad that already boasts top names including Ronaldo and Sadio Mané.
Despite his high-profile reputation, Felix has struggled for consistency since leaving Benfica, failing to hit double-digit goals in any of his recent seasons across Europe’s top leagues.
With his transfer to Saudi Arabia, Felix becomes the latest European star to join the lucrative Saudi Pro League, following a growing trend of big-name players opting for the Middle East as a new footballing frontier.
