In the wake of her highly publicized split from singer Harrysong, Alexer Peres is making waves in the entertainment industry with her debut in Nollywood.

Set to grace the screen in an upcoming production by actress and producer Destiny Etiko, Peres’s entry into the film world marks a significant shift in her post-marriage narrative.

Etiko recently teased fans with a glimpse of Peres on set, signaling her official foray into acting.

Edo Election: ‘Go Where?’ – Davido Rejects Police Call For Voters To Leave After Voting

Published

on

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has disagreed with the advice that voters should leave polling stations immediately after casting their ballots in the ongoing Edo State gubernatorial election.

Davido’s reaction came in response to a statement by Frank Mba, the Deputy Inspector General of Police responsible for election security.

In an interview with Channels Television on Saturday morning, Mba urged Edo residents to fulfill their civic duty and return home after voting.

He also announced a restriction on vehicular movement in the state from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on election day. “If you’re not accredited for the election, stay off the streets. Cast your vote and go home; it’s your civic duty,” Mba said.

However, Davido, a supporter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), had a different view.

He suggested that voters should remain at the polling stations to ensure their votes are properly counted and to prevent any potential electoral misconduct.

In a tweet, he responded to Mba’s advice with a humorous yet critical tone, writing, “Loooooooool go where ???”

Davido, whose mother is from Edo State, had previously expressed his support for the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo.

On September 15, 2024, the singer posted on Instagram, endorsing Ighodalo as “the next Governor of my Mother’s Homeland @asueighodalo.”
