BBTitans: Fans React To Yemi Cregx Eviction

Published

on

Former Big Brother Titans housemate Yemi Cregx was evicted from the show on Sunday March 5, leaving many of his fans in shock.

Yemi was one of the four housemates who were asked to leave the house by host Ebuka during the live eviction show, as they received the lowest amount of votes from viewers.

Despite being a strong contender and one of the most talked about housemates in the competition, Yemi’s eviction has left many fans wondering whether it was real or fake.

During his time in the house, Yemi was known for his playboy tactics and his romantic entanglements with fellow housemates Khosi and Blue Aiva. However, his actions came under scrutiny after Ebuka exposed him, leading to a confrontation with Khosi, who he had promised love and affection.

Despite the shock of his eviction, Yemi’s fans have expressed both surprise and support for him, with some vowing to stop watching the show while others wished him well in his future endeavors.

Here are some of the comments gathered from Tweeps:

@Afokem_24 said: “It still feels like a dream and I have not come to accept it yet but we move. I miss seeing him on my screen so much. you are the man you think you are, the guy with a good, caring and sincere heart. ❤️❤️

@Amlovelybae said: “Khosi was your greatest undoing in the house. Move past that, avoid her like a plague cos she breeds badluck. Focus on yourself and your brand. The world is your oyster.”

@EdirinOloja7: “I wish you all the best Yemi.Getting to d finals doesn’t matter..it is having God’s grace after d show that matters and u’re a child of grace. Go & conquer ur world. I hope u will sit down and review ur stay in d house. Don’t trust any woman who has given u several red flags.”

@Ampharsh: “wow!! #YemiCregx you do this one oh, most #BBTitans    couldn’t come to the reality of your eviction, me of one just couldn’t catch sleep knowing we won’t see you on screen for some time, mehn…. it hurt & ‘we’ are deeply hurt. The conspiracy theory against you was deep!”

@SamiRae0693: “Yemi fans really failed him… I thought the wake up call from 2 weeks ago would spur them to go all out for him this time but they disappointed him. No way only Yvonne had more votes than yemi and nelisa combined. Coz Justin doesn’t have fanbase. Yall goofed big time.”

@Ijeoma_unsual: “The first day I saw u, I loved u. I like ur moves. I just said top 5. Not fanning anybody. But when I saw u will KHosi of all the beautiful girls there. I just shounted and 🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️

Yemi Alade Accuses Cool FM, Clout Africa of Blacklisting Her Music

Award-winning Nigerian singer and activist, Yemi Alade has accused Cool FM Nigeria and Clout Africa of blacklisting her music after she failed to perform at an event organized by the platforms in December 2023.

The singer, in a series of tweets on Thursday night, alleged that her music has been removed from the stations’ playlists for nearly a year, despite her efforts to resolve the misunderstanding.

Alade explained that she was invited by Cool FM to perform at their December event but couldn’t attend.

According to her, she apologized for her absence in January 2024 but faced a cold reception from the management.

She claims this eventually led to her entire music catalogue being banned from the station’s playlists.

“Mr Serge and Mr Joseph, this life is not hard like that. WE SEE YOU… I SEE YOU @cloutafrica @CoolFMNigeria. This world is a small village. My God will fight for me… Una dey form gatekeepers in 2024,” she tweeted, referring to Cool FM and Clout Africa executives Serge Noujaim and Joseph Adamu.

Alade expressed shock at what she described as a deliberate attempt to sabotage her career by refusing to play her songs. She accused the station of barring both her old and new music from the airwaves.

“Since December 2023. I personally reached out in January. You are still refusing to play my music and giving my team a hard time. You’re not gatekeepers, and you are not God, Mr Serge Noujaim and Mr Joseph Adamu,” she wrote.

She further criticized the lack of communication from the management regarding the issue.

“The common decency to reach out and clear out any misunderstanding borne out of sheer carelessness on your path for a whole year, and your next move is to place an embargo on my songs? Remove my whole catalogue,” she added.
