Female Artists Face More Challenges in Music Industry, Says Rapper Molt'N

Nigerian rapper Molt’N, has stated that female artists in the music industry have to work twice as hard as their male counterparts in order to achieve success.

Molt’N, who recently reached 150,000 streams on various platforms, believes that women face many challenges in the industry, but is determined to overcome them.

In an interview, Molt’N stated, “Being a female rapper is even twice harder, as you have to overcome so many hurdles to be recognized and respected in this art. However, it feels extremely satisfying to keep doing this and excel at it. The harder the task, the more impressive the victory, right?”

Molt’N, a graduate of Abia State University, has released a top-charting EP titled “The OutSet,” featuring six tracks written and performed by the artist and produced by Donl37. Molt’N recently had her first live studio performance at Echroom, where she performed two tracks from her EP, “No Signal” and “Ichie.”

Molt’N remarked, “As an artist, you can never replace the feeling you get from a live performance with anything.”

The reality star reportedly uploaded a clip featuring himself and an unidentified woman on his Snapchat account at approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Though Eloswag swiftly deleted the video, it had already caught the attention of the internet.

The explicit content quickly gained traction after being reposted by the controversial gossip blog, Gistlover, sparking widespread conversations across social media platforms.

In response to the incident, Eloswag took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his frustration and consider possible legal action.

The reality star’s reaction highlights the challenges celebrities face when intimate content finds its way online.

While some supporters have shown empathy, others have engaged in heated debates about the responsibility of public figures in handling their digital content.

Eloswag’s predicament places him alongside other Nigerian celebrities who have dealt with similar scandals, such as Moyo Lawal, Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, and James Brown, whose private videos have previously surfaced online.
