Portable Alleges VDM’s Culpability In Missing NGO Funds
Popular Nigerian musician, Portable has sparked controversy with allegations that online personality, VeryDarkman (VDM), is complicit in the rumoured mismanagement of funds by an unnamed non-governmental organization (NGO).
The outspoken artist did not hold back in his criticism, stating, “A friend of a thief is a thief,” a pointed remark aimed at VeryDarkman’s association with individuals linked to the missing funds.
Portable, known for his unfiltered commentary on social and industry issues, made the statement in a video on his social media page.
He questioned the integrity of anyone associated with the accused parties and challenged VeryDarkman to clear his name.

“How can you roll with people accused of taking money meant to help others? If you walk with them, you’re just like them,” Portable claimed, his tone sharp and accusatory.
The controversy arises amid growing public concern over the alleged misappropriation of NGO funds, which were reportedly intended for community development projects. While the details remain unclear, Portable’s remarks have amplified scrutiny on VeryDarkman, who is yet to release a statement addressing the accusations.
Portable’s comments have sparked mixed reactions online.
Some supporters praised him for speaking out, while others criticised him for what they perceived as a premature judgment without concrete evidence.
As the debate continues to unfold, both Portable and VeryDarkman remain trending topics on Nigerian social media, with fans and critics alike demanding clarity on the situation.
Whether the accusations will lead to further revelations or fade away as another social media feud remains to be seen.

Only A Fool Would Destroy What God Has Built – EeZeeTee Fires Back At Mercy Chinwo
The CEO of EeZee Conceptz, Ezekiel Onyedikachi, popularly known as EeZeeTee, has strongly refuted accusations made by gospel artist, Mercy Chinwo, who claimed that he attempted to destroy her career through lies and emotional manipulation.
Recall that in a video shared across various media platforms on Tuesday, Chinwo accused EeZeeTee of threatening to ruin her career and subject her to servitude during her time with his label.
EeZeeTee has responded with a statement expressing disappointment over the allegations, emphasizing that such actions contradict the values of a true child of God.
He said, “It’s heartbreaking that you can go to this extent to tarnish the credibility or tarnish the image of someone. You had promised that you would destroy my reputation and the organization. Well done. When you’re done achieving it, I hope you get a crown in heaven.”

The music mogul went on to challenge the narrative, stating that as a gospel artist and someone who professes faith, Chinwo should not resort to tactics that would harm another person.
“How would we sabotage our investment? We need to be a little more intelligent with the narratives we’re presenting,” he stated. “The question is this, are we going to carry strife in our hearts, bitterness in our hearts, resentment in our hearts, and go everywhere, you know, acting like we’re doing ministry and kingdom?”
The core issue, according to EeZeeTee, revolves around unresolved financial matters between him and Chinwo.
He mentioned that despite his repeated efforts to resolve the matter in a peaceful manner, his gestures were misconstrued as weakness and signs of guilt.
“For more than two years, there’s been quite a lot of challenges and disputes behind the scenes. I had not felt or seen the need to come out to discredit any of my artists,” he stated.
He further explained that his peaceful efforts were not understood and were even seen as attempts to avoid responsibility.
“I made efforts to see how this would be resolved,” EeZeeTee said, detailing his efforts to consult respected men of God, including Apostle Eugene Ogwu, Bishop Humphrey Erumaka, and Bishop Mike Okonkwo.
“But what did I hear? He’s running everywhere to meet these people. Now he’s very scared. What is he scared of? Why is he running around?”
EeZeeTee also responded to claims that he was the one who initiated legal action, revealing that his accounts had been frozen without prior explanation.
“Around March, all my accounts were frozen. I couldn’t trace where it was coming from. Until somehow, I got confidential information that it was a few sets of persons who were doing this,” he said, adding that the freezing was part of a covert effort to manipulate the situation.
He also questioned the legitimacy of Chinwo’s statements, saying, “How do you say I took you to court? When did the court come in? The dates are there.”
Addressing Chinwo’s allegations of a financial dispute, EeZeeTee clarified his position on the audit process. “I have never been opposed to a financial audit. Never,” he stated, expressing his willingness to participate in a fair and unbiased audit.
However, he made it clear that this process should be mutual, and both parties should open their books for scrutiny. “Let’s have a neutral, unbiased entity.
Professional who understands all of the navigations within the ecosystem of the music industry. We want this audit to happen. Because that’s the only way I would also be vindicated,” he explained.
EeZeeTee also addressed accusations that he bullied Chinwo, asserting that anyone who knows her would know it’s impossible to bully a bully.
“You cannot bully a bully,” he remarked, suggesting that the allegations were part of a broader attempt to discredit him. “This is just an attempt to assassinate the character of someone,” he added.
Lastly, he responded to allegations regarding the paternity rumors surrounding Chinwo’s child, calling it a disappointing and baseless accusation.
“It beats my imagination that in all of this, as sensitive as a case of a paternity saga, that’s what you want to use to put false allegations on my head,” he said, challenging Chinwo to provide evidence for such claims.
EeZeeTee closed his statement by calling for truth and reconciliation within the gospel music industry, emphasizing the need for honesty and accountability.
“This is an attack on the body of Christ. Only a fool would destroy what God has helped them to be,” he concluded.
