Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem Drops New Single "THANK YOU"

Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has dropped a new Single “Thank You” to appreciate his wife months after getting back on fit.

Biztellers could recalled that last year that Eedris went through kidney transplant after he was diagnosed with kidney failure.

The rapper expressed gratitude to his wife, Yetunde Sekinat, for being the donor and to all those who assisted him during this time.

In a statement via his official Instagram account, the rapper said: “To whom much is given, alot more is expected, and a grateful heart never forgets but lives to testify of the Goodness of our God through the wonderful souls He places on our individual and collective paths.

“By the grace of God, Eedris Abdulkareem has just crossed a dangerous medical bridge and survived it due mainly to the unalloyed love, care and devotion of his lovely and dependable wife, Yetunde Sekinat, his family, close friends and many other beautiful souls, who through prayers, visits and support made a world of difference, as well as helping to make it possible for us to collectively sing an awesome new song of thanksgiving! What a Joy!

“And that is exactly what the rejuvenated Naija Hip Hop Czar and Social Crusader is set to do on the 25th of January 2023, as Lakreem Entertainment Inc officially drops Eedris Abdulkareem’s soul stirring and deeply appreciative thanksgiving single aptly titled “THANK YOU!”

Tragic Funfair Crush In Ibadan Claims Children’s Lives

The Oyo State Government under Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the reconstruction of Ijio-Idiko-Ile Road which is one of the roads in the Oke Ogun geo-political zone in the state. Makinde also disclosed that he had given the go-ahead for the renovation of Iseyin Township Hall. Makinde, made these known during a town hall meeting held at Iseyin Town Hall in Iseyin Local Government Area, on Thursday. In his speech, Makinde informed the audience that construction is still going on at the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso campus's College of Agricultural Science and Renewable Natural Resources, Iseyin Campus. He declared that Oba Abdul Ganiy Adekunle Salau, the most recent Aseyin of Iseyin, would be honored by having the campus lecture hall bear his name.

Several children lost their lives, and many others were injured in a tragic incident at a funfair in Ibadan, a city in south-west Nigeria.

The event, which was advertised as free entry, attracted a massive crowd, resulting in a crush as attendees struggled to gain access.

Eyewitnesses reported that over 5,000 children gathered at the venue, located at the Islamic High School Basorun. The tragedy unfolded when the main organisers arrived to begin the event. While the exact sequence of events leading to the crush remains unclear, the situation escalated into chaos, leaving scores injured.
