Real Madrid Thrash Man City To Seal Champions League Last 16 Spot (Full List)
The UEFA Champions League play-offs came to an explosive conclusion last night, with record winners Real Madrid securing their place in the last 16 after a dominant 6-3 aggregate victory over Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s men, who had lost the first leg 3-2 at the Etihad, faced an uphill battle at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite their attacking intent, the Premier League champions were undone by a sensational hat-trick from Kylian Mbappe, sealing a 3-1 win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side on the night.

Elsewhere, Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven pulled off an impressive victory against Italian giants Juventus to book their place in the next round.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain also progressed, defeating Ligue 1 rivals Brest in an all-French affair.
With Tuesday’s fixtures also wrapping up, the 16 teams advancing to the knockout stage have now been confirmed.
