Sex Trafficking: P Diddy’s Legal Team Requests Accusers’ Names
Sean “P Diddy” Combs‘ legal team has made a significant request in the rapper’s ongoing legal battle, asking a federal judge to release the names of his accusers.
Diddy, currently facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, has denied the accusations, pleading not guilty. His legal team argues that they need to know the identities of those making claims against him to prepare adequately for his federal trial, which is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
The legal filing, submitted to Judge Arun Subramanian, highlights the uniqueness of the case, pointing out that many of the accusations come from unidentified complainants.

Diddy’s attorneys claim that the rapper’s celebrity status has fueled a “torrent of allegations,” many of which they believe to be false or exaggerated. “This has created a media circus that threatens to deprive Mr. Combs of a fair trial,” his legal team stated.
The charges against Diddy are serious and date back as far as 1995. In addition to the federal case, six new civil lawsuits have been filed against him, with accusations ranging from rape to sexual misconduct. The lawsuits come from both men and women, spanning over two decades of alleged incidents. These latest complaints are part of a larger group of claims from more than 120 individuals who have accused the rapper of sexual abuse.
Despite the growing number of lawsuits, Diddy’s legal team remains confident in his defense. In a statement, they described the latest accusations as “baseless” and suggested that the ongoing legal challenges are attempts to damage his reputation. “In court, the truth will prevail,” Diddy’s attorneys said, insisting that their client has never sexually assaulted anyone.
Diddy’s legal troubles are further complicated by claims that the government leaked a video involving Cassie Ventura, which allegedly shows him attacking a woman. His defense team has accused the prosecution of misconduct in connection to the leak, though prosecutors have denied any wrongdoing, calling the accusations unfounded.
With a trial set for next year, the case continues to generate significant media attention, raising questions about how Diddy’s defense will address the flood of accusations from multiple accusers. If convicted, Diddy faces severe legal consequences, and the trial is expected to last approximately three weeks.
As he remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, Diddy’s legal team is actively fighting to clear his name in what they describe as a “hysterical” media frenzy. This high-profile case continues to evolve as both sides prepare for a battle in court.

Prior to his release, Speed Darlington had petitioned Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, DIG Dasuki Galadanchi, over his prolonged detention. He called on the DIG to comply with a court order directing his release or formal arraignment.
Justice M.S. Liman had earlier issued an order on December 23, 2024, mandating the police to charge the singer within 48 hours or release him unconditionally.
Speed Darlington’s arrest stemmed from allegations he made against Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy. The singer accused Burna Boy of being involved in an immoral relationship with embattled U.S. rapper and music executive Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy.
The situation has sparked widespread discussions, with many Nigerians expressing relief at Speed Darlington’s freedom while others continue to debate the circumstances surrounding his arrest.

In early January 2025, Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy fulfilled a promise by gifting $30,000 to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer from Alaba Market who had claimed to be related to socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
This act of generosity occurred amid an ongoing feud between Burna Boy and the Cubana Chief Priest.

Following the donation, Cubana Chief Priest clarified that Bethel Okechukwu is not his brother, stating, “I have only one biological big brother & two kid sisters. They ain’t doing so bad.” He emphasized that he is not obligated to support his siblings financially and urged the public to verify such claims.
As of now, there are no credible reports indicating that Burna Boy instructed Bethel Okechukwu to take any specific actions towards Cubana Chief Priest after receiving the $30,000. The narrative appears to be centered around Burna Boy’s charitable gesture and Cubana Chief Priest’s subsequent clarification regarding his familial relationships.
