on

Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist, Imisi Ayanwale, has opened up about her plans should she emerge winner of the N150 million grand prize as the show comes to an end tonight.

Speaking during her final diary session with Big Brother on Sunday, Imisi revealed that she currently has no definite plan for the prize money but intends to seek financial guidance before making any major decisions.

“Honestly, right now I don’t have a set plan for the money,” she said.
“I need to seek financial advice first because I’ve never had such a large amount before.”

The popular housemate noted that while she has managed smaller sums in the past, handling a huge financial reward requires wisdom and professional input to avoid mistakes.

According to her, she plans to take her time and make well-thought-out decisions that would secure her future beyond the fame of the show.

Imisi, known for her cheerful personality and emotional honesty, also shared kind words about her fellow finalists — Dede, Jason Jae, Kola, Kaybobo, and Isabella — describing them as talented and deserving individuals.

“Dede is soft, speaks well, and dresses well.
Kola is a fashionista, Kaybobo cooks amazingly, Jason Jae was the first and last Head of House, and Isabella is beautiful and confident,” she said.

Reflecting on her journey in the BBNaija house, Imisi described the experience as “a roller coaster of emotions”, admitting that it helped her discover new levels of resilience and self-awareness.

She expressed excitement about reuniting with her family after months of isolation and said she was grateful for the love and support from fans who stood by her throughout the show.

Imisi has been one of the standout personalities of the season, earning praise for her calmness, maturity, and authenticity in the midst of challenges. Her ability to remain true to herself has made her a fan favourite ahead of the grand finale.

As tension mounts across the country, millions of BBNaija viewers are eagerly waiting to see who will be crowned the winner of Season 10 and walk away with the N150 million grand prize, joining the likes of Phyna, Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, and Ilebaye in the hall of fame.

“I’m struggling to find the words. This news has truly broken me,” Nnadiekwe wrote.
“Nollywood has lost a rare soul, and I’m lost for words because this wasn’t the plan, Alex Ekubo.

“To think you already prepared your will — it’s a heartbreak I can’t quite describe. Rest well, my friend.”

According to a Nollywood source, Ekubo was rushed to the hospital on Monday after reportedly battling kidney cancer.

The source claimed the actor died on Tuesday afternoon after spending hours on life support.

The development comes months after concerns emerged over the actor’s health due to his prolonged absence from social media.

A check on his pages showed that his last post was made on December 30, 2024, raising questions among fans about his wellbeing.

Since the news broke, social media has been flooded with tributes from fans, celebrities, and colleagues mourning the actor’s reported death and celebrating his contributions to the movie industry.

As of the time of filing this report, neither Ekubo’s family nor his management team had issued an official statement regarding the reports.

Adekunle Gold Clears Air on Twins Rumour, Reveals Truth About New Baby

Published

on

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has addressed widespread online speculation claiming that he and his wife, fellow musician Simi recently welcomed twins, clarifying that the reports are false.

The award-winning artiste made the clarification during a recent interview with Great Day Houston, where he spoke about his family life and creative partnership with his wife.

Adekunle Gold described marriage to Simi as both inspiring and creatively fulfilling, noting that sharing a home with another songwriter allows them to exchange ideas and support each other musically.

He also expressed joy about their growing family, hinting at the excitement of raising children who may show interest in music.

However, addressing the viral rumours directly, the singer dismissed claims that the couple had welcomed twins.

“That is just the internet talking. We didn’t have twins, we have a son,” he clarified.

The clarification comes months after the couple announced the arrival of their second child in April, without initially revealing the baby’s gender or name—an omission that sparked widespread speculation online.

Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in January 2019 and welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.

The couple remains one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity music couples, known for balancing their public careers with private family life.
