Adeniyi Johnson, Seyi Edun Welcome Twins After 7 Years Of Marriage

After seven years of marriage, Nollywood actors Adeniyi Johnson and Oluwaseyi Edun have welcomed twin babies.

Despite their fame, the couple, who got married in 2018, prefers to keep their personal life private. Adeniyi, who is 44 years old, shared the news of the birth of his twin sons on his official Instagram account, accompanied by a photo of him cuddling their little hands.

The actor, who appreciated God for the blessings, disclosed on his post that he had waited seven years before the arrival of the twins on Monday.

“My wife and I waited for Seven years. God is Indeed good. He planned it as a birthday gift for me, friends, family, fans, well-wishers and associates. I am happy to announce that I am the latest Twins’ Dad. My wife is doing fine, and Ibeji are doing great. Thank you all”, he wrote on Instagram.

The babies were born on Adeniyi’s 44th birthday.

He also revealed this was why he couldn’t respond to well-wishers on his birthday; he apologised to all of them.

“This is why I couldn’t post or celebrate my birthday… I didn’t even remember it was my birthday.

Apologies for not replying to messages, taking calls or commenting on your posts. I hope this good news will make you pardon me… I love you all.”

Their Lagos home and Instagram page have been flooded with well-wishes from colleagues, celebrating them.

Adeniyi got married to Toyin Abraham on July 3, 2013, but they separated in August 2015.

The announcement of their divorce, based on the grounds of infidelity, was made by Toyin.

After their formal divorce in 2018, Adeniyi got married to Seyi.

Renowned songstress, Tiwa Savage has shared a remarkable gesture of goodwill by fellow artist Olamide.

The YBNL record label owner turned down a N100 million offer for a verse in one of her songs, according to Tiwa’s recent Instagram post.

Tiwa explained that she initially approached Olamide’s management, anticipating that he would insist on providing his contribution for free. His team set a fee of N100 million, but upon learning the artist involved was Tiwa, Olamide refused to accept the payment.

Highlighting their close, sibling-like bond, Tiwa expressed her gratitude towards Olamide for recognising the challenges faced by female artists in the music industry.

“I was talking to his management, I did not want to talk to him directly because he would want to do it for free. I was willing to pay and his team charged me N100 million. When Olamide asked them who the artiste was, he just said NO. He won’t take it,” Tiwa recounted.

“He said I’m his sister and he knows how difficult it is for a woman to make it in the industry. And guess what? He gave the verse for free. Good people exist and Baddo is one,” she added.

This act of kindness underscores Olamide’s supportive nature and his commitment to uplifting fellow artists, particularly women in the industry.

A video has surfaced online, capturing the moment Nigerian singer Davido allegedly slapped one of his mmember so staff simply identified as ‘iamSegxy’ during his wedding ceremony.

The incident, which took place just a week after Davido’s highly publicised wedding to Chioma, has ignited a flurry of reactions across social media platforms.

The footage shows the man bowing to Davido immediately after the alleged slap. Notably, Chioma, alongside media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and singer B-Red, were present during the incident but appeared unfazed.

The video has garnered significant attention, with many expressing shock at the occurrence.

However, the purported victim (iamSegxy) has come forward to refute the allegations.

Taking to social media, he clarified the situation, stating, “As regards the fake video circulating on the internet, you are all commenting on something you don’t know. My boss didn’t slap me and has never slapped any of his staff. He was only cautioning me to allow the boy. The boy in question appeared from nowhere and I tried to stop him. Besides, my boss is my blood and family, I understand him so well without a word from his mouth. 30BG for life. Happy married life, boss.”

This clarification has added a new dimension to the controversy, with many supporters rallying behind Davido. Despite this, the incident continues to trend, sparking debates on the dynamics between celebrities and their staff.
