‘You Insulted Me 30 Years Ago, Karma Is A Leveler’ — Yeni Kuti Fires Foluke Daramola
Television personality and singer, Yeni Kuti, has responded to actress Foluke Daramola’s statement that young people are using social media to insult their elders.
Recall that Daramola, in a live video on Tuesday, had described as a “pandemic” the situation where young adults insult older ones on social media because of their different views on politics.

Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako has slammed Nigerian youths over what she described as perpetual insults on the elderly people on social media.
Featuring on TVC’s Your View on Wednesday, Kuti said that Foluke was reaping what she sowed.
Kuti stated, “Foluke Daramola, I like her, and I talk to her. But I remember when she insulted me. I just googled her now. She’s 45, I’m 62.”
She claimed that the incident occurred decades ago, but she remembered it because it affected her.
“I was only doing what they asked me to do. I didn’t take money for the job. I did the job well, but the enmity I got from her was terrible.
“So I’m wondering if she remembers. I remember because it was done to me. Now she’s demanding respect. You reap what you sow. Karma is a leveler,” Kuti said.

“It’s very, very personal,” Wizkid said during an interview with Esquire earlier this year. “I hope it lifts spirits and spreads positive energy.”
The 16-track album features high-profile collaborations with Jazmine Sullivan, Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Anaïse, and Tiakola. It follows his 2022 release, More Love, Less Ego, which peaked at No. 2 on the World Albums chart and No. 59 on the Billboard 200.
The album’s lead single, Piece of My Heart, featuring Brent Faiyaz, debuted in October and has already achieved significant success, reaching No. 4 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and No. 7 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
Trailing Morayo in this week’s poll results were ROSÉ’s solo single Number One Girl in second place and Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album GNX in third.
With Morayo, Wizkid continues to solidify his place as one of the most influential artists in the global music scene, capturing hearts with his personal storytelling and infectious sound. Fans and critics alike are lauding the album’s depth and artistry, making it a standout release of 2024.
