I Will Only Marry Man Who Supports My Acting Career – Georgina Ibeh

Nollywood Actress, Georgina Ibeh, known for her talent and grace, affirms her readiness for marriage at any time, with one condition: her partner must support her acting career rather than hinder it.

She passionately believes in marriage but emphasizes the significance of finding a man who will understand and encourage her in her journey in the world of acting.

In a conversation with NollyNow, the actress from Imo State opened up about the importance of marriage in her life. “My mum and dad were married and the marriage lasted long before I lost my dad in 2020. I believe so much in marriage and having kids.”

She added: “In as much as I wouldn’t want to have children out of wedlock, marriage is something I would embrace in the long run. Although I’m not in a relationship at the moment, I want to meet someone who understands that I love my acting career.

“I want to be a good role model to the younger ones who are looking up to me. Of course, I wouldn’t be here forever. I am creating a niche for myself. I am still single but I have a YouTube Channel called Georgina Ibeh Channel which is like a retirement plan for me when I get married because I wouldn’t be as busy as I am today, jumping from one movie set to another.

“In the course of doing my work as an actress, some said I am intelligent, hard-working, and a good role model to many young ladies. Others said I appear to be outspoken and fearless when it comes to issues that affect other people. “In my normal life, I am more of an introvert but people don’t believe me. I can be an introvert as well as an extrovert. But I am more of an introvert, I love my space, and I love to be alone most of the time. I do not put my real life into my acting. I just play my role and come out of the character as soon as I am done”, she said.

Ibeh embarked on her professional acting journey in 2015, following her graduation from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. She made her mark in popular TV series including “The Patriot,” “Super Story,” “This Life,” “The Benjamin,” and more. Today, she stands as one of the most in-demand talents in the Nigerian film industry, investing herself fully in every role she takes on.

Veteran Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has reacted to Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s recent apology regarding his stance on tithing.

Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), had previously claimed that those who do not pay tithes would not make it to heaven, a statement he recently retracted.

During a sermon, Pastor Adeboye apologised, saying, “I’m apologizing for saying, ‘If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t make it to heaven.’ I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible. What the Bible says is, ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God.’”

However, Charly Boy, known for his outspoken nature, expressed dissatisfaction with Adeboye’s apology. In a strongly worded post, Charly Boy stated that the apology was meaningless unless Adeboye returned the tithes collected from followers based on the original claim.

He went on to criticise certain church practices and the perceived hypocrisy of some church leaders, saying, “I truly believe that a lot of the fakest people are found in churches… Stop giving ur CONGREGATION ridiculous Lamba’s. There is nothing worse than a fault-finding finger-pointing Pastor who is as fake as the blings of a wanna-be artist.”

Charly Boy has long been known for his controversial takes on societal and religious issues, and his latest comments have sparked reactions across social media.
