How Tinubu Can Save Self From #EndBadGovernance2024 – Late TB Joshua

Published

on

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been urged to take two strategic steps to save his administration and preserve Nigeria’s democracy from the looming #EndBadGovernance2024 protests.

The word of prophesy was contained in a video clip of Sunday, July 14, 2013, where the late General Overseer of the Synagogue of All Nations (SCOAN), TB Joshua, proffered job creation “and the creation of a new social value system” as panacea to a revolution.

In what appeared to be a Sunday sermon, the late Joshua stated categorically, “God showed me this vision… I am seeing a revolution. When I say revolution. Every revolution starts by protests.”

He cautioned that at protest stage, the authorities can stop the people by an interplay of several forces including persuasion and law enforcement, but the moment it becomes a “revolution, no one can stop it. You can stop protests, but you cannot stop revolution. Revolution means, everyone is ready to go for it. I am seeing people taking to the streets.”

He cautioned the authorities not to take it lightly, because, “when it started, you’ll take it to be protests. At the end of the day, it will turn out to be a revolution.”

In his views, the revolution was bound to happen because the youths, irrespective of quality of education have found themselves jobless and hopeless, while the political class were not carrying the youth along by giving them political appointments.

According to late Joshua, it would be in the best interest of the political class not to allow the protests to start.

“It must be stopped at the beginning. When it starts as a protest, people carry placards. You carry police, you carry everything and you stop them. But when it becomes a revolution, everybody would be ready to die, so you can’t stop them,” he pointed out.

In the video clip, he set out the solutions, thus.

“God has given us the way out. The way out is job creation for our youths and the creation of a new social value system. No matter the education the youth have, whether professor or PhD, they feel they have no place in politics. And there’s no job to keep them busy.

“There must be a new orientation. In politics, the youths should be considered for important positions, such as assistant to elders. While the elders are Ministers, the youth should be junior Ministers. In all appointments into the department of politics or administration, youths should be considered as second in command. By doing this, we are training them to take over tomorrow. This is because they are leaders of tomorrow,” he asserted.

The late Joshua voiced that “This is because revolution is weapon of change that is coming. This is a vision. I am not preaching. I am not teaching. This is what I saw!”

“Revolution is coming, when people will take to the streets, because life has no value anymore.”

He made it clear that he was saying what will come to pass because it is the word of God and doesn’t care what people say or how they persecute him for speaking the truth.

Published

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, to ₦970 per litre for oil marketers.

This new price, effective immediately, marks a ₦20 decrease from the refinery’s previous ex-depot price of ₦990 per litre, which was set earlier this month.

In a statement released on Sunday, Anthony Chiejina, the refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, explained that the price reduction is a way for the company to express its appreciation to Nigerians for their unwavering support in making the refinery a reality.

“This decision is our way of thanking Nigerians for their unwavering support in making the refinery a dream come true,” Chiejina said.

The statement also highlighted the refinery’s gratitude towards the Nigerian government, acknowledging the role of government measures in supporting domestic businesses.

“In addition, this is to thank the government for their support, as this will complement the measures put in place to encourage domestic enterprise for our collective well-being,” the statement read.

Despite the price cut, the refinery reassured consumers that there would be no compromise on the quality of its products. “While the refinery would not compromise on the quality of its petroleum products, we assure you of best quality products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable,” the statement added.

The company also committed to ramping up production to meet domestic fuel consumption and alleviate concerns over potential supply shortages.

“We are determined to keep ramping up production to meet and surpass our domestic fuel consumption; thus, dispelling any fear of a shortfall in supply,” the statement concluded.

The price reduction is expected to save marketers approximately ₦20 per litre on purchases from the refinery’s Lekki-based plant.

Simon Ekpa, a Finnish citizen of Nigerian descent and a controversial figure in the Biafran separatist movement, has dismissed his self-styled title of “Prime Minister of Biafra” as inconsequential.

Speaking during legal proceedings at the Päijät-Häme District Court in Finland, Ekpa stated, “I am just a content creator; the issue of Prime Minister of Biafra is not serious.”

Ekpa’s statement comes in the wake of his arrest by Finnish authorities on charges related to incitement of terrorism.

The Finnish National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has accused Ekpa of public incitement to commit crimes with terrorist intent.

The arrest stems from an incident in Lahti on August 23, 2021, and officials are also seeking the detention of four other suspects linked to the case.

“The detention demands are related to a preliminary investigation in which a Finnish citizen of Nigerian descent, born in the 1980s, is suspected of public incitement to commit a crime with terrorist intent,” the NBI said in a statement.

Ekpa, who has used his social media platforms to advocate for Biafran independence, has been a divisive figure in Nigeria’s southeast region.

His rhetoric and actions, including calls for economic shutdowns through “sit-at-home” orders, have been linked to widespread unrest and disruptions in the region.
