JUST IN: Autopsy Unable To Determine Mohbad’s Cause Of Death – Pathologist

Published

The coroner’s inquest into the untimely passing of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, famously known as Mohbad, has hit a roadblock as the autopsy fails to provide a definitive cause of death.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, addressing reporters during the proceedings in Lagos State on Wednesday, revealed that due to significant decomposition, the pathologist couldn’t ascertain the cause of death.

He said, “According to him (pathologist), the cause of death cannot be determined because by the time they conducted the test, the body had decomposed and that it is not possible for them to determine the cause of death.

“So, in summary, he is saying the cause of death cannot be ascertained. When you say the cause of death cannot be ascertained, it means it is suspicious, it is not clear. No particular reason.”

Shittu elaborated that the pathologist also suggested the possibility of the late singer’s death being linked to a reaction from drugs administered prior to his passing.

“He went further to say that he does not know whether it is those drugs that led to the death,” he added

“Sometimes, it’s not actually bad blood. As I said they might want to release a single so they will need all the clout and engagements to get their songs out there in your faces. So that’s it literally.”
