Published

Evicted Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 housemate, Kassia Sule, has disclosed that her family is unhappy with her management’s decision to prioritise her husband, Kellyrae, over her during the competition.

The couple, popularly known as bDoubleKay, entered the No Loose Guard edition of BBNaija under one management.

However, after the housemates were unpaired and left to compete individually, their management chose to focus on promoting Kellyrae, which led to Kassia’s exit from the show.

In a post-eviction interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Kassia explained that although her family disapproves of the decision, she personally agrees it was the right move.

“The management’s decision was the best, even though my family isn’t happy about it,” Kassia shared. “I’m cool with it.”

Her eviction on Sunday has sparked reactions from fans, especially after Kellyrae expressed that he would prefer to win the N100 million grand prize over his wife.

This revelation directed their fanbase to concentrate votes on Kellyrae, ensuring his place in the show’s finals, while Kassia was eliminated.

The DoubleKay duo, who have been together for over a decade, tied the knot just eight months ago. Their love story captivated viewers, but Kassia’s early exit has raised questions about whether the management’s strategy was fair.

“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Alhaji Bako Bala has died — APC chairman of Suru local government,” the post read.

According to the adviser, Bala succumbed to gunshot injuries at the Medical Centre Hospital in Birnin Kebbi after the gunmen shot him during the attempted abduction of him and his family.

‘How Many Things Have They Manipulated?’ – VDM Reacts To Pastor Adeboye’s Apology

Renowned social media activist Martins Ortse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, stirred discussions on Friday after critiquing the role of religion in Nigeria and Africa.

His comments followed Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s public apology regarding a controversial statement on tithing.

Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), had previously claimed that Christians who did not pay tithes would be unable to enter heaven.

However, in a recent address to his congregation, the respected cleric admitted that the assertion was a mistake, emphasizing that the Bible does not support such a teaching.

Instead, Adeboye clarified that peaceful and holy living, not financial contributions, are the true prerequisites for salvation.

Reacting to this development via his Instagram account, VeryDarkMan expressed mixed feelings.

“I’m happy about what Papa Adeboye revealed, so I’m waiting for all those pastors like David Ibieyomie who preach about giving tithe,” he said.

“The number one man of all the religious people in Nigeria has come out to apologize that he’s sorry for saying if you don’t pay tithe you won’t make heaven; that it’s not in the Bible.

“Which other things have they told us is not in the Bible? That’s what I’m concerned about; how many things have they manipulated that is not in the Bible? I’m glad that Papa Adeboye came out to say these things, so imagine the ones that would come out to apologise and have manipulated the people, they have twisted the right words of the Bible to suit their own narratives.

“Religion has blinded and finished us in Africa and I will keep talking about how messed up religion has made us, carry your Bible. I’m waiting for those who will come tomorrow and say prayers won’t move Nigeria forward.

He added, “I hope God will touch papa and the tithe collected will be used to touch the people of the country by creating jobs for millions.”
