In a heartfelt post-eviction interview, Shaun Okojie, a recently evicted housemate from Big Brother Naija Season 9 (‘No Loose Guard’), expressed his strong belief that his girlfriend, Wanni Danbaki, deserves to win the grand prize of N100 million.

Shaun’s remarks came during a conversation with renowned host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, where he praised Wanni for her dynamic and authentic representation throughout her time in the house.

Shaun emphasised that Wanni has showcased a wide range of emotions and personalities during her stay in the Big Brother house. “Wanni is still my winner. Outside of my relationship with her, Wanni has given a dynamic representation of herself on the show,” he stated. He elaborated on her journey, noting that viewers have seen her experience both highs and lows.

According to Shaun, Wanni’s character has been multifaceted, demonstrating energy, quietness, assertiveness, compassion, and even moments of conflict. “She has seen the highs, she has seen the lows. You’ve seen her being energetic, quiet, outspoken, fighting, apologetic, loving and hating. You’ve seen her doing everything,” he explained.

Shaun’s admiration for Wanni goes beyond their romantic relationship. He stressed that even if they were not involved, Wanni’s dynamic presence in the house would still earn her his vote. “In terms of the dynamics of a human being, I think she has shown all parts of herself. As the competition heats up in BBNaija Season 9, fans are eager to see how Wanni’s journey unfolds in the remaining weeks of the competition and whether she will take home the coveted prize.

Diddy replaces Kanye West, as Hip-Hop’s billionaire

Sean “Diddy” Combs could be released from prison earlier than previously expected after his projected release date was moved forward again.

According to the latest listing from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, the 56-year-old music mogul is now projected to leave the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on February 5, 2028.

The latest adjustment moves his projected release date forward by more than two weeks from the previously listed date of February 20, 2028.

Combs’ release date has reportedly been revised several times since he began serving his 50-month federal prison sentence in October 2025.

His initial projected release date was June 2028 before subsequent changes moved it forward to April, February and January. It was later adjusted to February 20, 2028, before the latest change to February 5.

The reason for the repeated changes remains unclear.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has previously said it does not comment on individual inmates’ confinement conditions, release plans or the reasons behind changes to projected release dates, citing privacy, safety and security concerns.

Diddy’s Prison Sentence

Combs is serving his sentence after a federal jury found him guilty in 2025 on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.

However, he was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

A judge subsequently sentenced the rapper and entertainment executive to four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

Reported Altercation at Fort Dix

The latest release-date adjustment comes weeks after reports that Combs was involved in an altercation with another inmate at the New Jersey prison.

Reports cited by the Daily Mail alleged that Combs and the inmate initially pushed each other before punches were exchanged. Guards reportedly intervened, and Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement.

Prison officials have not publicly confirmed the details of the alleged incident.

Combs’ representatives have previously denied reports that he violated prison rules, maintaining that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder was focused on sobriety, self-discipline and personal growth while serving his sentence.

For now, the Bureau of Prisons lists February 5, 2028, as Combs’ projected release date.

However, the date could still change.

He called on Plateau indigenes, residents, friends and supporters of the state to unite behind Sheba and vote for her, stressing that every vote could make a difference in determining the eventual winner.

Ayra Starr Describes Stage Fall as Embarrassing

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has sparked a debate over money and power in relationships after revealing how she would behave if she were financially richer than her male partner.

The “Bloody Samaritan” hitmaker shared her views on financial disparity in relationships while speaking on an episode of the Wahala podcast.

Ayra Starr said that if she dates a man who is not as wealthy as she is, she would naturally have control over him because of her financial advantage.

According to the singer, however, being richer than her partner would not mean he would be exempted from providing for her.

“If I date a man who I am richer than, I will control him. But even if I am richer, he will still be providing, and I won’t let him know I have a lot of money,” she said.

Ayra Starr also disclosed that she would deliberately keep the extent of her wealth away from such a partner, meaning he would not necessarily know that she has substantial financial resources.

Her comments have since generated mixed reactions from members of the public.

While some people agreed with the singer’s position, arguing that “it is a man’s job to provide” regardless of how much his female partner earns, others criticised her stance.

Critics particularly questioned her decision to hide her financial status from a future partner, arguing that openness about finances is an important part of a relationship.

The singer’s comments have consequently reignited conversations about financial power, control, transparency and traditional gender expectations in relationships.

The debate also comes amid growing conversations about changing gender roles, as more women attain financial independence and, in some cases, earn significantly more than their male partners.

Ayra Starr, who has established herself as one of Nigeria’s prominent Afrobeats artistes, continues to attract attention both for her music and her outspoken comments on issues surrounding relationships and society.
