Chrisland: Wizkid’s first babymama, reacts to alleged sexual assault as Ubi Franklin insist it’s rape
Shola Ogudugu, Wizkid’s first baby mama, has spoken out about the alleged rape of a 10-year-old student at Chrisland School.
Boluwatife Balogun, Wizkid and Shola’s first child, attends Chrisland School and was selected for the World School Games, which took place in Dubai a month ago.
Shola said that her son told her about the incident and that it wasn’t a rape case.
According to her, when Bolu told Shola about the encounter, she was taken aback.
He told her that he couldn’t stand the video his friends were watching and had to excuse himself.
He told his mum that they were playing the game of truth and dare and were making mind bugging dares.
In her words: “It took me a lot of thinking before dropping this comment. The way we just throw the word ‘RAPE’ around so loosely without considering how much damage it can cause.
“Firstly, as parents, we need to pay close attention to our kids and what we expose them to, cos mahn it’s a crazy world we live in. Secondly, I accompanied my son to represent his school at the just concluded WSG and I can say for a fact that the 10 yr old in question was DEFINITELY not raped.

“I remember vividly the SHOCK in my son’s face when he was telling me about a video some other kid was watching. He said Mum, I couldn’t stand the video I had to excuse myself, he said the gist circulating was that the girl and her click played a game of truth or dare, of which this particular girl couldn’t stop with the mind bugging CARES.
“I couldn’t believe my ears when I learned about the nasty activities this Lil kid get themselves involved in.
“To make matters worse, even when she was accosted about the video, she was owning it with her full chest, saying yeah it’s me.in the video and so”.
After Ubi Franklin’s report that the female student was gang-raped by the boys, the actually video which later surfaced online proved otherwise, with many insisting that the girl in question gave consent to a mutual sexual engagement.
However, Ubi Franklin continues to insist that the girl was drugged by her classmates before they had canal knowledge of her.
He tweeted: “What is misleading? A child was asked to come to collect her charger from the boy’s room, what does that say? She was tricked to come there and was given something to drink. Now the school failed by concealing information from her parents for a month.”
“The boys took her charger and asked her to come to their room and collect her charger. According to her mum, the girl said when she got there, they told her to pick up her charger from the bathroom and they gave her something to drink and they started on her.”
Chrisland School received heavy backlash after suspending the 10-year-old following the incident.

Gas Explosion in Katsina Filling Station Damages Six Vehicles
A gas cylinder explosion at a filling station in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State has resulted in significant damage to six vehicles, according to a statement from the Katsina State Police Command.
The command’s spokesperson, Abubakar Sadiq-Aliyu, confirmed the incident, which occurred on Friday, November 15, 2024.
He explained that a loud explosion alerted police operatives from the Jibia Divisional Police Headquarters. Responding promptly, the Divisional Police Officer led a team to the site, supported by military personnel.

“Upon arrival, operatives found a truck loaded with gas cylinders engulfed in flames at Tamal filling station, along Kagadama-Magamar Jibia Road,” Sadiq-Aliyu stated. The joint team acted swiftly, deploying measures to protect lives and limit property damage. Their efforts successfully extinguished the fire.
The spokesperson added, “Six motor vehicles were significantly affected by the fire incident, but fortunately, no life was lost.”
State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Abubakar-Musa, has directed a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the explosion. Updates on the findings will be provided as investigations progress.
This incident highlights the need for heightened safety measures at gas filling stations to prevent such occurrences.
