Cole Palmer Wins EA SPORTS Player Of The Month For September
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has been voted the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month for September 2024, following a series of dominant performances that saw him emerge as one of the league’s standout players.
The official announcement, made on Friday via the Premier League’s website, highlighted Palmer’s exceptional contributions throughout September.
The 22-year-old led the Premier League in both goals and goal involvements, scoring five goals and providing one assist in just four matches.

Palmer’s crowning moment came in Chelsea’s emphatic 6-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, where he set a new Premier League record by becoming the first player to score four goals in the first half of a match.
His stunning haul, achieved within 21 minutes, drew widespread acclaim and secured his place in league history.
Beyond that record-breaking performance, Palmer also delivered key contributions in other matches.
He assisted a goal in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace and found the back of the net again during the Blues’ commanding 3-0 win over West Ham United.
This marks Palmer’s second Player of the Month award, with his first coming in April 2024.
The midfielder’s consistency has been a talking point, as he has now won two of the last three monthly awards, further solidifying his reputation as one of the Premier League’s rising stars.
Palmer topped a competitive shortlist of eight nominees after a public vote on the EA SPORTS website was combined with votes from a panel of football experts.
Already off to a strong start in October, Palmer provided an assist in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
He currently leads the Premier League in goal involvements this season with 11 and will look to continue his fine form when Chelsea take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, October 20.
Meanwhile, the Premier League is expected to announce the Barclays Manager of the Month for September soon, continuing the round of prestigious monthly honors for the league’s top performers.
Recall that Palmer was named England Men’s Player of the Year for 2024 on Tuesday.
