I Wished For Death After Botched Surgery – Jay Boogie

Published

on

Renowned transgender personality, Daniel Anthony Nsikan, known as Jay Boogie, shared that he desired death due to severe complications resulting from a failed botched cosmetic surgery.

He disclosed that his health declined significantly, necessitating daily dialysis to aid urination due to complications arising from the surgery.

In a conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Jay Boogie revealed receiving death threats on social media after friends posted his hospital bed photos.

He stated that his friends falsely claimed he required public assistance for a kidney transplant using those images.

Boogie expressed sorrow over the invasion of privacy by supposed friends who shared his images online, resulting in relentless cyberbullying directed at him.

He mentioned temporarily withdrawing from media exposure due to the overwhelming negativity and threats he faced.

He said “People that I thought were my friends came into the hospital and took pictures of me and sent to the bloggers. It was becoming so annoying that the bullying online was even too much.

“I was receiving death threats. People will come to my DM and be like, ‘You never still die?’ So, I decided to stay off the media for a while.

“I wasn’t the one that sent out my pictures on social media. It was my friends. I’m a discreet person. I don’t like flaunting things. I love living a low-key life. Because nobody cares about you. You should care about yourself”.

Highlighting his desire for a private life, he underscored the lack of regard for his well-being, criticizing the insensitivity of those who mocked his situation.

He shared enduring the ordeal of daily dialysis to manage swollen legs and high urine levels, meticulously monitoring water intake, and enduring painful blood extractions during sessions.

Reflecting on hurtful comments, he questioned the mental health of those ridiculing his choices, expressing weariness and contemplating the purpose behind undergoing the surgery that caused such distress.

He stated “So, I mean, with the dramas going online, people bullying me saying, ‘How man go go do nyansh.’ Can you even imagine the mentality? Do you even see me as a man? This is something I want for myself.

“And I’m sure that if I were to be any of their siblings they won’t tell me that they won’t feel the pains I’m going through. I started going to dialysis every day just so I can pass out urine. My legs were swollen. The urine was very high. At that point, I was measuring my intake of water.

“Before I go for dialysis they will check my weight and I will be weighing 100 and something. Every day, I would be going for dialysis, they will be taking out my blood and all that.

“It was hurting that I sat down and said, ‘God abeg, I am just tired. I just want to go [die]. What am I even doing? Who send me to come do this nyansh sef?”

Diddy replaces Kanye West, as Hip-Hop’s billionaire

Sean “Diddy” Combs could be released from prison earlier than previously expected after his projected release date was moved forward again.

According to the latest listing from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, the 56-year-old music mogul is now projected to leave the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on February 5, 2028.

The latest adjustment moves his projected release date forward by more than two weeks from the previously listed date of February 20, 2028.

Combs’ release date has reportedly been revised several times since he began serving his 50-month federal prison sentence in October 2025.

His initial projected release date was June 2028 before subsequent changes moved it forward to April, February and January. It was later adjusted to February 20, 2028, before the latest change to February 5.

The reason for the repeated changes remains unclear.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has previously said it does not comment on individual inmates’ confinement conditions, release plans or the reasons behind changes to projected release dates, citing privacy, safety and security concerns.

Diddy’s Prison Sentence

Combs is serving his sentence after a federal jury found him guilty in 2025 on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.

However, he was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

A judge subsequently sentenced the rapper and entertainment executive to four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

Reported Altercation at Fort Dix

The latest release-date adjustment comes weeks after reports that Combs was involved in an altercation with another inmate at the New Jersey prison.

Reports cited by the Daily Mail alleged that Combs and the inmate initially pushed each other before punches were exchanged. Guards reportedly intervened, and Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement.

Prison officials have not publicly confirmed the details of the alleged incident.

Combs’ representatives have previously denied reports that he violated prison rules, maintaining that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder was focused on sobriety, self-discipline and personal growth while serving his sentence.

For now, the Bureau of Prisons lists February 5, 2028, as Combs’ projected release date.

However, the date could still change.

Ayra Starr Describes Stage Fall as Embarrassing

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has sparked a debate over money and power in relationships after revealing how she would behave if she were financially richer than her male partner.

The “Bloody Samaritan” hitmaker shared her views on financial disparity in relationships while speaking on an episode of the Wahala podcast.

Ayra Starr said that if she dates a man who is not as wealthy as she is, she would naturally have control over him because of her financial advantage.

According to the singer, however, being richer than her partner would not mean he would be exempted from providing for her.

“If I date a man who I am richer than, I will control him. But even if I am richer, he will still be providing, and I won’t let him know I have a lot of money,” she said.

Ayra Starr also disclosed that she would deliberately keep the extent of her wealth away from such a partner, meaning he would not necessarily know that she has substantial financial resources.

Her comments have since generated mixed reactions from members of the public.

While some people agreed with the singer’s position, arguing that “it is a man’s job to provide” regardless of how much his female partner earns, others criticised her stance.

Critics particularly questioned her decision to hide her financial status from a future partner, arguing that openness about finances is an important part of a relationship.

The singer’s comments have consequently reignited conversations about financial power, control, transparency and traditional gender expectations in relationships.

The debate also comes amid growing conversations about changing gender roles, as more women attain financial independence and, in some cases, earn significantly more than their male partners.

Ayra Starr, who has established herself as one of Nigeria’s prominent Afrobeats artistes, continues to attract attention both for her music and her outspoken comments on issues surrounding relationships and society.
