Singer Mohbad throws shade at Naira Marley in new song (Video)

Nigerian street hip-hop artist, Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba), has released a song criticizing his former label boss Naira Marley.

A month had passed since the troubled artist claimed that thugs sent by Naira Marley had attacked him for wanting to switch managers.

The KPK crooner debuted his brand-new song, titled “Tiff,” on Sunday after sharing the snippet clip on Twitter.

The song’s line, “Why is Naira going down?” seemed to be a subtle jab against Naira Marley.

On October 25, the artist’s management announced his departure from the record company. In a statement, Mohbad’s legal team claimed that his departure was motivated by the ongoing abuse he endured, which Naira Marley coordinated, as well as unpaid royalties since 2019.

Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has promised to form a Govt of national unity if elected, accuses APC of indepth corruption and also stated that he is not concerned about the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi’s popularity in the country.

Atiku diclosed this in an interview with the Voice of America (VOA) during the week.

According to Atiku Abubakar, it is not all region that the youths is supporting Peter Obi, that he is just known in some few areas in the south-east.

He said, “Absolutely not, it doesn’t worry me, because the demography of the youth varies from region to region, and it is not in all regions of the country that the preponderance of the youth is moving towards Labour in South or South-East.”

Speaking of how he will tackle the growing insecurity, inflation and other issues facing the country he said:”We already have all these things laid out in our documents where we addressed all these issues, insecurity, poverty, oil theft and so on.

He added that, “I am going to devolve more security apparatus to the local government and the state, so that it won’t be only the federal government affairs.”

Meanwhile, spokesman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Dino Melaye while speaking to journalists in Abuja on Saturday, reaffirmed that Obi cannot win the election, claiming that the excitement among his “Obidient” fans is already waning.

He said, “By January, it will go down more, because people will realize that it is going to be a wasted vote, people will realize that he (Peter Obi) cannot become president, people will realize that voting for Peter is voting for Tinubu, so that is why I’m having a clarion call on Peter Obi, gentleman, progressive minded, sound, to in the interest of this country for his tomorrow, he should give his today and come back home to support his elder brother and mentor.”

Drama as Tinubu, Atiku absence from Arise Tv Presidential Debate (Video)

There was pandemonium as Nigerians reject organised Arise TV presidential debate over refusal of Tinubu and Atiku’s participation.

The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general elections, Bola Tinubu pulled out of a live presidential debate scheduled for 7:30pm today (Sunday).

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar on the other hand sent his running mate, Okowa to represent him.

Tinubu was earlier billed to attend the debate alongside Atiku, Labour Party-Peter Obi and that of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.

But in a terse post on its social media pages on Sunday evening, Arise TV, which is organising the debate in collaboration with the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), said the presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Kola Abiola, would now take part in the event instead of Tinubu.

The debate according to the organisers would focus on economy and security.

However, the audience having noticed that the ‘Jagaban of Lagos’ and Atiku are not taking part of the debate were seen throwing tantrums as they demanded their presence.

According to reports, Tinubu and Atiku did not confirm their attendance 24 hours before the debate, whereas Obi and Kwankwaso contacted the forum’s organizers to accept the invitation.
