‘It’s Over for Now’ – TikTok Star Jarvis Confirms Breakup with Peller After Lekki Crash
Popular TikTok influencer Jarvis, whose real name is Elizabeth Amadou, has announced the end of her relationship with fellow content creator Peller, born Hamzat Habeeb, following his recent car crash on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.
Jarvis made the disclosure during a live video session on Tuesday, amid widespread reactions on social media over Peller’s hospitalisation after the accident, which occurred while he was livestreaming.

Addressing online comments linking the crash to their relationship, Jarvis condemned what she described as ridicule and insensitive narratives circulating on social media, stating that such reactions were worsening an already painful situation.
“It’s always people will mock me. Because I can see concern about this online. People will mock him. Stop mocking him. Stop shading him,” she said emotionally.
She stressed that the incident should not be used to judge Peller’s character, noting that she had never portrayed him as a bad person. According to her, Peller’s struggles are related to emotional control rather than bad intentions.
“Yes, he cannot control his emotions. That’s the problem. I can control mine, but he can’t control his. We need to join hands together to help him,” she added.
Confirming the breakup, Jarvis explained that the decision was not driven by hatred or abandonment but by the need for clarity, healing and personal well-being.
“Peller is a sweet guy. I don’t even want it to end, but it has happened. The relationship is not the thing now. The solution is for us to put our heads together to help him be better. This is not about hatred or silence. The relationship is over for now,” she said.
She also appealed to fans to stop spreading what she described as harmful narratives and mockery.
“How is shading helping? It’s not helping. Don’t use it against him. Encourage him. Encourage us. Stop using our pain to mock us,” she pleaded.
Visibly emotional, Jarvis said the online backlash had intensified the distress surrounding the incident, urging the public to focus on gratitude that no life was lost.
“All you people should be saying is thank God for life. Thank God nothing happened to him. I love him, but for now, we need to be okay. I want to be okay. He needs to be okay,” she said.
Jarvis concluded by noting that breakups are not always rooted in animosity, but can sometimes be necessary for peace, healing and emotional stability.
Peller had raised alarm on Sunday after crashing his newly purchased Mercedes-Benz during a live Instagram broadcast titled “RIP Peller” on the Lekki-Epe Expressway. During the livestream, he appeared emotionally distressed, crying while on a phone call believed to be with Jarvis.
At different moments, he made disturbing remarks, including threats of self-harm, before the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a stone barrier.
Subsequent videos shared online showed bystanders assisting him before he was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
