Kudus Joins Tottenham As Gibbs-White Awaits Final Call
Tottenham Hotspur has officially completed the signing of Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United in a deal worth £55 million, and is on the verge of securing Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White after triggering his £60 million release clause — a combined investment exceeding £100 million.
Kudus’ arrival marks a rare switch between the London rivals, the first since 2011. The 23-year-old midfielder joins Spurs after two impressive seasons at West Ham, where he scored 19 goals across 80 matches following his £38 million move from Ajax.

Speaking to the club’s website, Kudus shared his excitement about the transfer: “I have always wanted to play at the highest level.
“How big the club is, the history, and (in) the Champions League as well, so it is a big moment. I am finally here and am very happy. I can’t wait to start.”
He added that Tottenham’s new manager, Thomas Frank, was a major influence in his decision to join: “The most important part of why I came here is the project and how the manager sees that I can develop under him. I have seen the amount of talent he has developed to become great players, and that is a big sign of why I wanted to work under him as well.”
The double signing represents a bold start to Frank’s tenure at Tottenham.
The former Brentford boss took over from Ange Postecoglou last month, despite the Australian manager ending Spurs’ 17-year trophy drought by guiding them to Europa League glory.
Their triumph over Manchester United in Bilbao also secured Champions League qualification for next season.
Meanwhile, Morgan Gibbs-White is set to be the next major addition to Frank’s squad.

Local media reported that the fountain gave way under the weight of dozens of fans who had climbed onto the structure to celebrate Spain’s World Cup triumph.
