Reflecting on their decade-long relationship, Kizz Daniel reminisced about the early days of his music career, highlighting his wife’s unwavering support. “Ten years ago when I started music, she believed in me,” the artist shared, his voice filled with emotion. “I’ll spend hours in the studio, and she would bring me food.”
Despite facing scepticism from others, including friends who mocked her belief in his talent, Kizz Daniel’s wife remained steadfast in her support. “I remember her friends mocking her that I can’t sing well,” he recalled. “She and my brother stood by me. I’d make a post, and only her and my brother would like it.”
The singer went on to reveal a touching gesture from his wife that kickstarted his career. “She even had to pay for my first song, which was just 10,000 naira,” Kizz Daniel disclosed. “Today, I’d give her 100 million without even thinking. Thank you, Wifey.”

Renowned Yoruba actor Ganiyu Oyeyemi, famously known as Ogunjimi, has sadly passed away.
The news of his demise was shared by fellow Yoruba actor Kunle Afod via an Instagram post on Friday.
Afod expressed condolences and bid farewell to Ogunjimi, stating, “We tried our best but God loves you more. May his soul rest in peace. Baba Ogunjimi, RIP, Sun re oooo.”

The Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, has been plunged into mourning yet again with the untimely demise of veteran actor Zulu Adigwe.
The sad news spread rapidly across social media platforms on Tuesday, as fans and colleagues alike expressed their shock and sorrow.
The passing of Adigwe was confirmed by prominent movie producer Stanley Nwoko, who took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news.
In a poignant post, Nwoko bid farewell to the talented actor, writing, “Rest in peace, good actor.”
This tragic loss strikes the industry only two weeks after the devastating boat accident in Anam River, which claimed the lives of Junior Pope and three other Nollywood actors.
The actors were reportedly en route to a filming location when the tragic incident occurred.
Adigwe, renowned for his portrayal of fatherly figures in Nollywood productions, achieved acclaim for his memorable roles. Notably, he rose to prominence as Mr. B in the beloved sitcom “Basi and Company.”

While originally from Enugu State and spending his formative years there, Adigwe later relocated to Austria, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani has shared his thoughts on the Afrobeats musical style.
He claims that over time, Afrobeats music has become significantly worse in quality.
He is of the view that the popular songs of today are “not very good music,” insisting that the hits of the past were excellent songs.
Recently, Hassani was featured on the Channels TV show Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka.
He said, “Afrobeats is Nigerian music. Our guys are top 10 and I feel like because of that the quality of music might stop dropping because more people want to get in. So the quality is really dropping.
“Back in the days, hit songs were serious music but now almost anybody is just coming in. Most of the hit songs in Nigeria now are not very good music. Back in the days it wasn’t like this. I feel like because we have been number one for so long, everybody is just dropping whatever they like and throwing money behind it.”
