Ned Nwoko Isn’t The Father Of My Child – Chika Ike
Popular Nollywood actress Chika Ike has dismissed rumours linking billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko to her pregnancy.
In a strongly worded statement on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Ike called the speculation “false and baseless,” emphasizing that Nwoko is not the father of her child.
The rumours began circulating after the actress announced her pregnancy through maternity photos on social media.
Speculation intensified when Regina Daniels, a fellow actress and Nwoko’s wife, reportedly deactivated her Instagram account, leading to online theories about a possible connection.
Addressing the claims, Ike expressed frustration over the relentless media scrutiny of her personal life but said she had previously ignored such rumours.

However, she made it clear that she would not allow falsehoods to be attached to her unborn child.
“But this is different, this is about my child… You all do not know anything about me! Because you CAN’T! Except I choose to disclose. Yes, I’m that PRIVATE!” Ike wrote.
She also refuted any suggestion that she might be interested in joining Nwoko’s polygamous household, stating emphatically, “Ned isn’t the father of my child… and like I’ve said before, I’m not about to be anyone’s seventh wife! Polygamy isn’t for me.”
The actress further criticized the culture of online gossip, noting that people had no clue about her pregnancy until she announced it.
“Keep digging and coming up with your false news. I don’t care about rumours because I understand it comes with my career choice,” she wrote.
Despite the controversy, Ike maintained that she is focused on enjoying her pregnancy journey, adding, “My privacy is my peace and NO ONE can unsettle me. I’m basking in the euphoria of my pregnancy and that’s all that matters to me now.”
