Following a tip-off, a team of security operatives conducted a sting operation resulting in the arrest of multiple suspects on the premises of the legislator.

Those apprehended, as reported by sources, include Damilare Mohammed, also known as DRE, Debbo Animashaun, Bamidele Saheed, Ismaila Onitire, Adewale Otesanya, and Tobi Owoade.

Currently, these individuals are undergoing questioning at the Department of State Service (DSS) office.

Sources have disclosed that dangerous weapons, including firearms, were seized from the suspects during the operation.

Bello was apprehended by the Department of State Service (DSS) for allegedly orchestrating the violent protest that occurred in Sagamu back in February.

The protest was in response to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) naira redesign policy.

The demonstration resulted in the destruction of approximately 10 banks and various public infrastructure, with irate youths actively participating in the vandalism.
