Things To Know About Chef Dammy

Published

on

Chef Dammy Pas, whose real name is Damilola Adeparusi, is a Nigerian chef, food blogger, and YouTuber.

She gained popularity after participating in the Guinness World Record Cook-a-Thon competition, where she attempted to break Chef Hilda Baci’s 100-hour cooking record.

Born in 1999, Chef Dammy Pas is currently 24 years old and hails from Ilupeju Ekiti in Ekiti State, Nigeria.

She is of Yoruba descent and is a proud Nigerian.

Her passion for cooking developed during her childhood, where she enjoyed preparing meals for her friends and family, sparking her desire to become a professional chef.

Chef Dammy Pas drew inspiration from Chef Hilda Baci’s successful Cook-a-Thon and decided to take on the challenge of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cook-a-thon marathon.

However, this decision received mixed reactions on social media as some critics pointed out that Chef Hilda Baci’s own Cook-a-Thon had not been officially acknowledged by the Guinness World Record yet, suggesting that Chef Dammy should have waited for Chef Hilda Baci’s achievement to be recognized before attempting to break the record.

On the other hand, there were Nigerians who supported Chef Dammy Pas’s decision, arguing that records are meant to be broken.

Regardless of the opinions, Chef Dammy continues to pursue her cooking endeavors and surpassed Hilda baci’s record with 120 hours cook-a-thon.

However, there have been rumors suggesting that she embarked on the record-breaking journey without officially applying for the Guinness World Record.

Some speculate that her intention may not have been to establish a new record, but rather to gain recognition on her culinary journey.

It is worth noting that chef Dammy has remained silent and has not issued any statement regarding the circulating rumors.

As of now, her net worth remains undisclosed and under review.
