TikTok Star Khaby Lame Deported From U.S. Over Visa Violation
Italian-Senegalese social media sensation and TikTok’s most-followed creator, Khaby Lame, has been deported from the United States for overstaying his visa, U.S. immigration authorities confirmed.
Lame, 25, was detained last Friday by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
In an official statement, ICE disclosed that the internet personality entered the U.S. on April 30 but remained in the country beyond the legal period permitted by his visa.
The New York Times reported that Lame’s visa status had become unclear in recent weeks, prompting enforcement action.

Lame, best known for his viral silent reactions to exaggerated “life hack” videos, has become a global phenomenon, boasting over 160 million TikTok followers.
His meteoric rise has earned him brand endorsements, a role in a Hollywood film, and a reality TV series, Khaby Is Coming To America, which aired on the streaming platform Tubi.
News of his deportation spread rapidly across social media, drawing widespread attention and stirring controversy.
Among the more vocal reactions was that of conservative commentator and Gen Z Trump supporter Bo Loudon, who claimed credit for Lame’s removal.
“Every single illegal alien needs to be DEPORTED. When I found out the biggest TikTok star, Khaby Lame, is an illegal alien evading taxes, I worked with Trump’s ICE to have him removed. He’s since been detained by ICE and removed,” Loudon posted on X (formerly Twitter).
While Lame has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident, he appeared to confirm his departure from the U.S. by sharing an Instagram Story tagged in São Paulo, Brazil — his first publicly known location since the deportation.
Speaking to The New York Times, Lame’s former attorney, Riccardo Lanzo, noted that while the influencer had spent substantial time in the United States, “there were uncertainties regarding the specifics of his visa status.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs could be released from prison earlier than previously expected after his projected release date was moved forward again.
According to the latest listing from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, the 56-year-old music mogul is now projected to leave the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on February 5, 2028.
The latest adjustment moves his projected release date forward by more than two weeks from the previously listed date of February 20, 2028.

Combs’ release date has reportedly been revised several times since he began serving his 50-month federal prison sentence in October 2025.
His initial projected release date was June 2028 before subsequent changes moved it forward to April, February and January. It was later adjusted to February 20, 2028, before the latest change to February 5.
The reason for the repeated changes remains unclear.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has previously said it does not comment on individual inmates’ confinement conditions, release plans or the reasons behind changes to projected release dates, citing privacy, safety and security concerns.
Diddy’s Prison Sentence
Combs is serving his sentence after a federal jury found him guilty in 2025 on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.
However, he was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
A judge subsequently sentenced the rapper and entertainment executive to four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
Reported Altercation at Fort Dix
The latest release-date adjustment comes weeks after reports that Combs was involved in an altercation with another inmate at the New Jersey prison.
Reports cited by the Daily Mail alleged that Combs and the inmate initially pushed each other before punches were exchanged. Guards reportedly intervened, and Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement.
Prison officials have not publicly confirmed the details of the alleged incident.
Combs’ representatives have previously denied reports that he violated prison rules, maintaining that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder was focused on sobriety, self-discipline and personal growth while serving his sentence.
For now, the Bureau of Prisons lists February 5, 2028, as Combs’ projected release date.
However, the date could still change.
The Plateau State Government has thrown its weight behind Big Brother Naija housemate, Sheba Faith Gamde, urging residents and supporters across the country to vote massively for the Plateau-born contestant.
The state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Prince Miaphen, made the call when he received members of Team Sheba, who visited the ministry on Thursday to seek government support for the reality TV star.

Miaphen assured the delegation that the ministry would mobilise support for Sheba and provide the encouragement needed to help her succeed in the competition.
Describing Sheba as a proud daughter of Plateau State, the commissioner said her participation in the popular reality show provided an opportunity for the state to showcase its talents and culture on a wider national platform.
“As a proud daughter of Plateau, I believe it is our collective responsibility to stand behind her and support her journey,” Miaphen said.
He called on Plateau indigenes, residents, friends and supporters of the state to unite behind Sheba and vote for her, stressing that every vote could make a difference in determining the eventual winner.
“Together, we can help our own bring the ultimate prize home,” he added.
Miaphen further encouraged youths and other residents to support the housemate throughout her stay in the BBNaija house.
“Let us support Sheba. Let us make Plateau proud,” the commissioner said.
