Wizkid, Mr Jollof Engage In Social Media Feud Over Tour With Davido
Award-winning Afrobeat singer, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, a.k.a. Mr Jollof have engaged in a public dispute over the singer’s recent announcement of a potential world tour with fellow musician Davido.
Recall, Biztellers had earlier reported that Wizkid hinted a tour collaboration with Davido.
On his verified Instagram, Wizkid wrote in his story, “After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)’ tour!! Davido and I going on tour! save your coins! I no wan hear pim”.
Reacting, Mr Jollof said it was not the best time for Wizkid to announce such as their fans have expected that over ten years ago.
“Na now day break? @Wizkidayo.
“You going on a tour at this point with Davido is not right. It seems like you are riding on his relevance.
”Wizkid plans to perch on OBO’s wing to fly because Davido currently owns the music market,” Mr. Jollof said.
Reacting to the development, Wizkid posted a picture of his children with the caption on Snapchat, “Ladies, if your man is out here begging to feed you and your family, make sure he washes your pant, bra and plates because he is your house help.
Mr. Jollof did not agree with the comment and stated that his relationship with Wizkid was mutual and nothing more. He questioned Wizkid by saying, “Have I begged you for money before?”
Later, he released another video where he asked Wizkid to stop mentioning his family in discussions because he is a responsible man who takes care of his family without relying on anyone else.
“Wizkid has never done anything for me before. When he promised to give me money, he failed and doesn’t reply to my DM aftermath.
“When I engaged my wife in Dubai, he didn’t do anything to assist me yet he comes out to call people poor.
“I’ve helped his career more. To the world, Wizkid helped me but I helped him more. I promoted to become the super star he is now. “Wizkid is not a man,” he ranted.
Meanwhile, Davido’s friend, Cabana Chief Priest and logistics manager Isreal DMW, and other Nigerians have responded to Mr. Jollof’s statement.
isrealdmw said,” What is this again?.
cabana chief priest said,”Jollof dey smoke Igbo.
flexo_off said,”Wizkid said i never give a man more than what he deserves, cause they still the bite the hand that feed them and he was right.
afrikan_special said, “He said his next tour is with Davido, he didn’t say Davido’s next tour is with him. The said tour can be in 2024, 2025, 2026…nobody knows, Wizkid’s waiting game is not here normally, so baba be calm.
istforum9ja said,” Dem don sell expired igbo give you.”
However, in a subsequent video, Mr Jollof apologized to Wizkid for his previous statement and referenced the singer’s song “More Love Less Ego.” He expressed regret if his words had caused offense and emphasized the importance of love over ego, while embracing himself in the video.

Olajumoke Onibread Accuses Ex-Husband Of Assault, Career Sabotage
Model Olajumoke Orisaguna, popularly known as Olajumoke Onibread, has opened up about her traumatic experiences in her marriage, accusing her ex-husband, Sunday Orisaguna, of domestic violence and ruining her career.
In an interview with City FM, Olajumoke shared harrowing details of her past, highlighting the abuse she endured during her time in her ex-husband’s family home in Ire, Osun State.
“We stayed in my husband’s family house at Ire in Osun State, and there is no way you stay in such a place that you would not encounter problems,” she recounted.
Olajumoke revealed that her mother-in-law’s hostility exacerbated the situation, as her ex-husband often sided with his mother without hearing her perspective.
“He would not hear my own side of the story before beating me. Whenever I had a misunderstanding with his mother, he would beat me to the extent that my face and body would be swollen. Sometimes he would even use a belt,” she said.

She further explained how she kept the abuse hidden to avoid upsetting her mother, who also lived nearby. Despite the hardships, Olajumoke continued to support the family financially, as her husband was unemployed.
Reflecting on a pivotal moment in January 2016, Olajumoke described the day she decided to leave:
“We were frying akara for his dad’s remembrance when I had an issue with his elder sister. As usual, he beat me up, and I decided that I was going to leave, move to Lagos, and start working at the bakery because I had been there before.”
Three days later, she relocated to Lagos with her two children. According to Olajumoke, the separation led to further challenges as her ex-husband began tarnishing her reputation, contributing to her career’s decline.
“Everything started going down the drain after separation because he started spoiling my name. Since then, things started going down,” she lamented.
Olajumoke, who rose to fame in 2016 after a chance encounter during a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah and photographer TY Bello, is now using her platform to shed light on the struggles she endured.
The model’s story has reignited conversations about domestic abuse and the societal pressures faced by women in similar situations.
