Wizkid, Davido’s Feud Escalates

The ongoing feud between Nigerian music heavyweights, Wizkid and Davido, has escalated to new heights as the two artists engaged in a fiery exchange on social media platform X.

The spat began when Wizkid, in a tweet on Monday night, seemingly aimed a veiled jab at some artists, prompting Davido to respond, accusing Wizkid of being “sick.”

The tension heightened when Wizkid shared a controversial video purportedly showing Davido seeking a woman’s attention, leading to a heated exchange between the two.

Davido lashed out at Wizkid, stating that he had stopped wasting his clout on someone whose career was “resurrected” only to “die again.”

In a swift retaliation, Wizkid boasted that even if he were to retire from the music industry immediately, Davido would still not be on his level. He referred to Davido as his “boy” and dismissed him as merely an influencer with a songwriter.

Not stopping there, Wizkid also took aim at Davido’s signee, Peruzzi, labeling him a “pant washer songwriter” during the social media war. This prompted a response from Peruzzi, challenging Wizkid to swear that he had never sought his services.

Adding fuel to the fire, Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, waded into the fray, expressing disappointment with Wizkid’s behavior and urging him to retire from the music industry if he’s fed up. Israel DMW also criticized Wizkid for allegedly shading music executive Don Jazzy.

As the war of words continues to unfold, fans of both artists are eagerly watching to see if tensions will ease or if the feud will only intensify further.
