BBN triple eviction

By Funmilayo Olusanya

The race to find the winner of the N100m worth of prizes is slowly ending as, for the first time this season, three Level Up Housemates, Deji, Diana and Giddyfia were booted out of the Big Brother Naija House.

In a shocking turn of events and as the tension filled the air at the eighth Big Brother Naija Live Eviction Show yesterday, Ebuka crossed into the house for the first eviction and asked fake housemate Deji to rise and exit the house.

Around the first part of the week, Amaka was also evicted after being nominated for immediate eviction by fellow housemates. While speaking to Ebuka, Amaka revealed that getting evicted was surprising, but with her newfound fame, she plans to launch a clothing line and a skincare brand.

Fake housemate Deji hesitated to step forward when Ebuka asked the last fake housemate to reveal themselves. His reveal was met with shock and tears from Chichi.

When asked by Ebuka who he would miss the most, Deji mentioned Dotun and Chichi. Although initially unsure about Chichi, he hopes to build their relationship when they are outside the house.

The game’s dynamics have changed as Diana and Giddyfia became the 9th and 10th Housemates to face Eviction. Ebuka kept us on the edges of our seats when he called Diana’s name.

The housemates embraced Diana, and while on stage with Ebuka, she expressed that she was stunned that she had stayed in the Level Up House for up to six weeks. Outside the house, she plans to take advantage of all opportunities she encounters but is peculiar about entering the skincare industry.

Giddyfia’s exit seemed the most shocking to the Level Up Housemates. During their Diary sessions earlier, most Housemates revealed that his absence would be felt because of his infectious laughter and bubbly energy. After saying his goodbyes, he shared with Ebuka that his “square” was indeed a problem for him and was totally unplanned.

While the Safe Housemates breathed a sigh of relief, Ebuka was sure to remind them that the race is still on, emphasising friends and foes.

Deji, Diana, and Giddyfia’s Eviction kept the Level Up Housemates on their toes as they spoke about it all night.

While the Level Up Housemates were aware someone would be leaving the House during the eighth Live Eviction Show, they were shocked to see three Housemates go in one night.

Deji’s reveal as a Fake Housemate and exit from the Big Brother House brought tears to Chichi’s eyes. Long after his departure, she curled up in bed and couldn’t stop crying.

Hermes comforted her and advised her to remember why she is in the Level Up House. Phyna tried to put a smile on her face by teasing her for falling in love with Deji. Deji’s closest friend, Dotun, also offered support and food.

Although the Housemates will miss Diana, her Eviction was not as shocking to them as Giddyfia’s. Allysyn exclaimed in a conversation with the Housemates, “Out of all my friends, I was not worried about Giddyfia leaving.” Bella, Doyin, and Sheggz backed her statement by saying they believed Giddyfia was a strong contender and thought Ebuka was joking when he called out his name.

Adekunle and Hermes also reflected on Giddyfia’s exit. They feel like the dynamics of his relationship with Amaka, Diana, and Rachel played a part in his Eviction. They also pondered on how he could clear his name outside the House.

The tension from evictions also brought fights, reconciliations, and bonding. Groovy and Phyna argued over dancing with fellow Housemates; Doyin and Rachel tried to resolve their issues by having an honest conversation with one another. After speaking on the Eviction Show, the Housemates bonded over their names and families.

Olajumoke Onibread Accuses Ex-Husband Of Assault, Career Sabotage

Published

Model Olajumoke Orisaguna, popularly known as Olajumoke Onibread, has opened up about her traumatic experiences in her marriage, accusing her ex-husband, Sunday Orisaguna, of domestic violence and ruining her career.

In an interview with City FM, Olajumoke shared harrowing details of her past, highlighting the abuse she endured during her time in her ex-husband’s family home in Ire, Osun State.

“We stayed in my husband’s family house at Ire in Osun State, and there is no way you stay in such a place that you would not encounter problems,” she recounted.

Olajumoke revealed that her mother-in-law’s hostility exacerbated the situation, as her ex-husband often sided with his mother without hearing her perspective.

“He would not hear my own side of the story before beating me. Whenever I had a misunderstanding with his mother, he would beat me to the extent that my face and body would be swollen. Sometimes he would even use a belt,” she said.

She further explained how she kept the abuse hidden to avoid upsetting her mother, who also lived nearby. Despite the hardships, Olajumoke continued to support the family financially, as her husband was unemployed.

Reflecting on a pivotal moment in January 2016, Olajumoke described the day she decided to leave:
“We were frying akara for his dad’s remembrance when I had an issue with his elder sister. As usual, he beat me up, and I decided that I was going to leave, move to Lagos, and start working at the bakery because I had been there before.”

Three days later, she relocated to Lagos with her two children. According to Olajumoke, the separation led to further challenges as her ex-husband began tarnishing her reputation, contributing to her career’s decline.

“Everything started going down the drain after separation because he started spoiling my name. Since then, things started going down,” she lamented.

Olajumoke, who rose to fame in 2016 after a chance encounter during a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah and photographer TY Bello, is now using her platform to shed light on the struggles she endured.

The model’s story has reignited conversations about domestic abuse and the societal pressures faced by women in similar situations.
