BBNaija Season 10: Rooboy Crowned Most Influential As Two Housemates Exit

Published

on

The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house experienced an emotional twist on Sunday night as Rooboy emerged the most influential housemate of the week, while Danboskid and Ibifubara bid farewell to the competition.

The Week Two live eviction, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, began with a review of recent house events.

Big Brother commended the housemates for their outstanding performance in the wager task before announcing Rooboy as the week’s most influential contestant, with his special reward to be revealed later in the show.

Danboskid became the first evictee of the night. His close friend Zita embraced him before other housemates sent him off with a chant of “three gbosa.” On stage, Danboskid admitted the eviction felt unreal but said he was ready to face reality.

He clarified earlier comments about women, noting that he only approaches someone truly exceptional, and praised Zita’s beauty.

The aspiring Nollywood actor revealed plans to pursue his career in the movie industry and maintain his relationship with Zita outside the house.

The second eviction saw 28-year-old therapist Ibifubara leave the competition. She admitted to feeling lonely during the week due to shifting friendships and confessed having a soft spot for Otega and Bright Morgan, though she chose not to act on it. Ibifubara revealed she intends to launch a podcast and expand her role in the creative direction of a hair brand.

Denari narrowly escaped eviction after falling into the bottom three on the voting chart.

However, the night took a tragic turn when Ebuka announced the death of Ayotunde Elegbede, a member of the BBNaija production crew, with confirmation from his family.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Thank you!

Diddy to Leave Prison Earlier Than Expected as Release Date Changes Again

Diddy replaces Kanye West, as Hip-Hop’s billionaire

Sean “Diddy” Combs could be released from prison earlier than previously expected after his projected release date was moved forward again.

According to the latest listing from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, the 56-year-old music mogul is now projected to leave the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on February 5, 2028.

The latest adjustment moves his projected release date forward by more than two weeks from the previously listed date of February 20, 2028.

Combs’ release date has reportedly been revised several times since he began serving his 50-month federal prison sentence in October 2025.

His initial projected release date was June 2028 before subsequent changes moved it forward to April, February and January. It was later adjusted to February 20, 2028, before the latest change to February 5.

The reason for the repeated changes remains unclear.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has previously said it does not comment on individual inmates’ confinement conditions, release plans or the reasons behind changes to projected release dates, citing privacy, safety and security concerns.

Diddy’s Prison Sentence

Combs is serving his sentence after a federal jury found him guilty in 2025 on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.

However, he was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

A judge subsequently sentenced the rapper and entertainment executive to four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

Reported Altercation at Fort Dix

The latest release-date adjustment comes weeks after reports that Combs was involved in an altercation with another inmate at the New Jersey prison.

Reports cited by the Daily Mail alleged that Combs and the inmate initially pushed each other before punches were exchanged. Guards reportedly intervened, and Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement.

Prison officials have not publicly confirmed the details of the alleged incident.

Combs’ representatives have previously denied reports that he violated prison rules, maintaining that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder was focused on sobriety, self-discipline and personal growth while serving his sentence.

For now, the Bureau of Prisons lists February 5, 2028, as Combs’ projected release date.

However, the date could still change.

Plateau Govt Backs BBNaija Housemate Sheba, Urges Massive Votes

Published

The Plateau State Government has thrown its weight behind Big Brother Naija housemate, Sheba Faith Gamde, urging residents and supporters across the country to vote massively for the Plateau-born contestant.

The state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Prince Miaphen, made the call when he received members of Team Sheba, who visited the ministry on Thursday to seek government support for the reality TV star.

Miaphen assured the delegation that the ministry would mobilise support for Sheba and provide the encouragement needed to help her succeed in the competition.

Describing Sheba as a proud daughter of Plateau State, the commissioner said her participation in the popular reality show provided an opportunity for the state to showcase its talents and culture on a wider national platform.

“As a proud daughter of Plateau, I believe it is our collective responsibility to stand behind her and support her journey,” Miaphen said.

He called on Plateau indigenes, residents, friends and supporters of the state to unite behind Sheba and vote for her, stressing that every vote could make a difference in determining the eventual winner.

“Together, we can help our own bring the ultimate prize home,” he added.

Miaphen further encouraged youths and other residents to support the housemate throughout her stay in the BBNaija house.

“Let us support Sheba. Let us make Plateau proud,” the commissioner said.

‘I’ll Control Him’ — Ayra Starr Reveals What Happens If She’s Richer Than Her Partner

Ayra Starr Describes Stage Fall as Embarrassing

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has sparked a debate over money and power in relationships after revealing how she would behave if she were financially richer than her male partner.

The “Bloody Samaritan” hitmaker shared her views on financial disparity in relationships while speaking on an episode of the Wahala podcast.

Ayra Starr said that if she dates a man who is not as wealthy as she is, she would naturally have control over him because of her financial advantage.

According to the singer, however, being richer than her partner would not mean he would be exempted from providing for her.

“If I date a man who I am richer than, I will control him. But even if I am richer, he will still be providing, and I won’t let him know I have a lot of money,” she said.

Ayra Starr also disclosed that she would deliberately keep the extent of her wealth away from such a partner, meaning he would not necessarily know that she has substantial financial resources.

Her comments have since generated mixed reactions from members of the public.

While some people agreed with the singer’s position, arguing that “it is a man’s job to provide” regardless of how much his female partner earns, others criticised her stance.

Critics particularly questioned her decision to hide her financial status from a future partner, arguing that openness about finances is an important part of a relationship.

The singer’s comments have consequently reignited conversations about financial power, control, transparency and traditional gender expectations in relationships.

The debate also comes amid growing conversations about changing gender roles, as more women attain financial independence and, in some cases, earn significantly more than their male partners.

Ayra Starr, who has established herself as one of Nigeria’s prominent Afrobeats artistes, continues to attract attention both for her music and her outspoken comments on issues surrounding relationships and society.
