BBNaija’s Phyna Seeks Justice Against Hair Vendor Cyberbulling Her
In a formal petition dated 22nd December 2023, Reality TV star and CEO of First Phyria Enterprises, Otabor Josephine, better known as Phyna has lodged a complaint with the Nigeria Police State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti – Yaba, Lagos.
This was contained in a picture posted by the winner of Big Brother Naija season 7, on her official Instagram page on Wednesday.
Biztellers reports that last year December the accused hair vendor, “dbeautyhair” took to social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp to call out Phyna over unreturned wig borrowed by her to an event.
Consequently, Phyna has now accused Damilola Olaore of Beauty Hair, along with others, of engaging in conspiracy, cyberbullying, and cyber stalking.
The complaint, addressed to the DCP State CID, details an incident on the 10th of December 2023 when Phyna had a movie premiere at 1 Max Cinema Lekki, Lagos.
Seeking a hairstylist for the event, Phyna enlisted the services of fashion stylist Teniola Azeez Olalekan.
However, following the public exposure of her engagement with Olalekan, Phyna claims that Olaore, operating under the name “dbeautyhair” with the phone number 08075884184, initiated a campaign of online harassment.
These actions, according to Phyna, were aimed at tarnishing her reputation, character, and brand, thereby jeopardizing her image and goodwill.
In her plea to the DCP, Josephine expresses her desire for a thorough police investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice. She attaches copies of the offensive postings as evidence and urges the police to intervene, emphasizing her commitment to upholding the law rather than taking matters into her own hands.
“I am a law-abiding citizen of Nigeria, am actress celebrity and the C.E.O First Phyria Enterprises.

In early January 2025, Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy fulfilled a promise by gifting $30,000 to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer from Alaba Market who had claimed to be related to socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
This act of generosity occurred amid an ongoing feud between Burna Boy and the Cubana Chief Priest.

Following the donation, Cubana Chief Priest clarified that Bethel Okechukwu is not his brother, stating, “I have only one biological big brother & two kid sisters. They ain’t doing so bad.” He emphasized that he is not obligated to support his siblings financially and urged the public to verify such claims.
As of now, there are no credible reports indicating that Burna Boy instructed Bethel Okechukwu to take any specific actions towards Cubana Chief Priest after receiving the $30,000. The narrative appears to be centered around Burna Boy’s charitable gesture and Cubana Chief Priest’s subsequent clarification regarding his familial relationships.
