Fayose’s Brother Calls Out Iyabo Ojo Over 7k Pepper Soup Bowl

Published

Isaac, the younger sibling of the former governor of Ekiti, Ayo Fayose, has accused actress Iyabo Ojo of insulting him after he voiced his displeasure over receiving three bones with his N7,000 pepper soup.

Fayose described his altercation with the well-known movie star in a since-deleted video that he posted on his Instagram profile.

He claims that he paid N7,000 for pepper soup at the actress’ Lekki restaurant, but only received three bones.

He said that although he had been a consistent patron of her business for the previous year, he wasn’t happy with this particular service.

He noted their services were deteriorating and called his cousin, Toyin Lawani, to talk to her friend about the problem.

To his dismay, Fayose claimed Ojo called to attack him, saying that he was impoverished and merely searching for quick fame, which is why he had originally made a video of the bowl of pepper soup.

He said: “I bought pepper soup from Iyabo Ojo in Lekki 1 and they gave me three bones and I complained. Iyabo Ojo started abusing me. She called me to abuse.

“She said I’m looking for cheap popularity. That if I’m not looking for cheap popularity, why will I do that. Because I did a video and I sent to my cousin Toyin Lawani. That advise your friend that the service is going down.

“I’ve been buying food from Iyabo Ojo’s place for the past one year, I have all my receipts here.

“Iyabo called me and started saying all sorts to me that I’m poor, that’s why I’m asking for the next round. And she banged the phone on me.

“My people, watch this video see 7k pepper soup and tell me; will you buy it?”

Then he shared a video of a bowl of seven thousand pepper soup with three bones in it, repeating that the food was way too subpar for the price and supporting his claim that the quality of their service had seriously declined.

In a more recent video, however, Fayose expressed regret to Ojo for giving her the impression that he was trying to disrupt her plans.

He repeated that he had been her client for a year and “had never complained” as he retold the story of the occurrence.

Fayose encouraged Ojo to let things go and used Davido’s motto, “We rise by lifting others,” in his caption. However, he added, “Please I am still patiently waiting for my sorry”.

We are buying Twitter from Elon musk, says Cubana Chief Priest

Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has refuted allegations of fathering a child with a Kenyan woman named Helen.

The socialite, during an interview on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds on Sunday, described the claims as a calculated attempt to disrupt his marriage.

Helen has publicly accused Chief Priest of abandoning her after she gave birth to a son she claims is his.

However, the businessman has repeatedly denied the allegations, asserting that he has no connection to the woman or her child.

“Children are a gift from God regardless of how they come, and I have more than enough to take care of my children, as many as possible that will come my way,” Chief Priest said.

“I have a beautiful marriage; this is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and if you watch the whole attack, it is on the marriage.”

When asked whether he would have accepted the child if proven to be his, the socialite responded, “Of course.”

He also expressed his willingness to undergo a paternity test but criticized the tone of the allegations. “You cannot bash me this hard and expect my loyalty,” he added.

Chief Priest further stated that the controversy has not impacted his marriage, emphasizing the strength of his bond with his wife. “We are not just husband and wife; we are business partners and associates that are inseparable,” he said.

He also suggested that the timing of the allegations raised questions about the accuser’s motives.

“The woman is always popping up every time I have an issue that goes viral. This shows that she has an ulterior motive rather than genuinely looking for the father of her child,” he stated.

The businessman noted that the saga has persisted for some time but maintained that he has no knowledge of the individuals orchestrating the accusations.
