Newly evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Benjamin Olufemi, popularly known as Ben, has shared the reason behind his move from the United Kingdom to Nigeria.

Ben, who was evicted from the season 9 edition of the BBNaija, No Loose Guard show on Sunday, disclosed that his relocation was primarily to take part.

Speaking in an interview with some journalists on Wednesday, the nightlife promoter stated that he aimed to utilize the platform to promote his business.

“First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.

“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.

“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was I had to pay all my bills before coming.”

Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Abdulrahman, known as Oxlade, has revealed that gang targeting led him to drop out of school.

In a recent podcast referenced by Punch Online on Wednesday, the former Lagos State University student shared that he had to leave during his final year.

He described the experience as a ‘crazy time,’ stating that leaving the school environment was the best decision for him.

“I dropped out of the university in my final year because it was a crazy time. There were some gangs after me because I’m a fine boy. Being a fine boy makes you a target. It is either you join them or they o** you. So I had to leave that environment.”

“I went to Lagos State University (LASU). Go and read about the school. Now, they’re more focused on academics. I think they’ve realized how fragile life is and how important it is to pursue your dreams, so they’ve cracked down on that kind of behaviour. Now everyone is chasing money, but at that time, it was a hot period.

“After I left school, I ran away from home because I couldn’t tell my family why I dropped out,” he revealed.

Meanwhile, the singer warmed the hearts of his fans as he welcomed his father on stage at his album listening party on Wednesday, September 18.

Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Onyeka has named Wanni as her most annoying housemate.

Onyeka made this remark during a conversation with Biggie, whiere she discussed both her favourite and least favourite housemates.

She explained that Anita could be upsetting but she is a sweet soul, and that doesn’t make her an annoying person.

However, she noted that Wanni gets her angry the moment she wakes up in the morning.

“My least annoying housemate is Anita because she is sweet, my most annoying housemate is Wanni, she is my girl but she is annoying as f*ck, sometimes I am just like, ‘Wanni chill out’,” she said.
