Hold VDM Responsible – Bobrisky Tells Falana, Falz
Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has strongly denied allegations of defamation against prominent Nigerian lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, rapper Falz.
This follows the emergence of an audio recording last month, where it was claimed that Bobrisky allegedly paid N10 million to the Falanas to secure a presidential pardon for a prior conviction.
In response to the allegations, Falana and his son issued a cease-and-desist letter through their lawyers from Falana & Falana’s Chambers, demanding an immediate retraction and apology. The legal team gave Bobrisky a 12-hour ultimatum to publicly apologize, threatening legal action if their demands were not met.

However, Bobrisky has categorically denied the claims. Taking to his Instagram account, the controversial crossdresser stated, “I, Okuneye Idris, aka Bobrisky, didn’t give Falz or his dad any money for pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them.” He further emphasized that the voice in the circulated audio does not belong to him and maintained that he never engaged in such actions.
Bobrisky also asserted that he has no connection to the publication of the alleged defamatory audio and urged the Falanas to target the publisher of the recording. “The person that published an audio online should take full responsibility for what he posted in public,” Bobrisky added, reinforcing his position that any defamation claims should be directed at the individual who posted the audio, not him.
This incident has sparked widespread discussions online, with fans and critics closely following the legal developments between Bobrisky and the Falanas.
Despite the controversy, Bobrisky stands firm in his denial, dismissing all accusations tied to the alleged N10 million bribery.
As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen whether the Falanas will pursue further legal actions or if the matter will be resolved through other means.
