How Dyche Aided Man City’s Fifth EPL Title Push
Football buffs around the world are almost certain that Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City FC would be popping Champaign sooner than later for their fifth English Premiership League in six attempts later this month.
While many, including Manchester United, legend, Roy Keane point to the points main rivals, Arsenal FC dropped in the draws against West Ham and Southampton, Everton’s Coach, Sean Dyche has confessed that he threw in the towel way early in the game against City.
This is evident in the way Dyche shifted focus to his side’s final two games of the season by replacing talismanic striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin with Neal Maupay at half-time.
According to the coach, “He felt a tight groin, but a tight groin can become a damaged groin.
“It would have been a harder call if it had been 0-0 but at 2-0 I had to make a call.”
Football pundits are now pointing at the changes the coach made and the game management as having a telling impact on the outcome of the match, though Everton is in relegation duel.
His approach seems to have borne fruit though, because with the EPL table showing that goal difference could be decisive in the battle againstrelegation, Everton weresuccessful at damage control to stop the bleeding at three.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by the Warriors of Zimbabwe in a crucial FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Akwa Ibom State.

The involvement of NGX Group extends beyond sponsorship, reflecting a deliberate strategy to support initiatives that bridge education, leadership, and economic opportunity.

The event featured a wide range of track and field competitions, including sprints, relays, long-distance races, high jump and long jump. Beyond medals and trophies, the games emphasized personal growth, resilience, and the value of teamwork, qualities that extend far beyond the sporting arena into leadership and professional development.

The Niger Delta Sports Festival (NDSF) torch tour continued through Edo State with the Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa and the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Honorable Amadin Enabulele and Festival Ambassador, Patience Igbiti on hand to receive it.
The Festival Torch which commenced the tour of the nine mandate states of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Bayelsa State, is part of events the organisers are using to create awareness for the games which holds in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State from April 1-8.

About 3000 Athletes will be competing for honours in 17 sporting events with an age restriction of not over 25 years of age.
The competition will hold at five venues including the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo Township Stadium, Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre, Itam West Secondary School and Ultrafit Sports Club.
