I Bed Wet Till SS3 – Bimbo Ademoye Speaks On Troubled childhood
Nollywood Star, Bimbo Ademoye has opened up on her personal struggles with bedwetting until her final year in secondary school.
Ademoye in an interview with YouTuber Hawa Magaji shared her insecurities and struggles during her childhood which contributed to her decision to be more introverted.
Despite these challenges, Ademoye found success in the film industry, but her debut acting role came with its own set of difficulties. The producer of the film told her that she would only be paid after filming, which put a financial burden on her father.
In her words: “If I’m in a room with more than 10 people, I start to have an anxiety attack.
“I think my social anxiety came from having low self-esteem issues growing up, and not being with my parents. I grew up with this thought in my head that nobody wanted to be around me.
“I don’t really like human beings because I feel like they are full of shit based on my experience.
“Most times I love to be by myself. I’d rather not deal with the hurt that people tend to bring. I’d rather just be on my own and just be around the few people that I’ve given access to me.
“I’m still dealing with that even at this stage. That’s why I’m very close to my dad because he was very big on helping me with that.
“I wet the bed for a long time. I’m talking about SS2 and SS3. My dad laughed it off.
“My first ever acting gig, they told me they were going to pay me N12,500 and they were going to pay me six months after shooting.
“My dad paid for my shooting budget of N50,000 during the shoot.”
Bimbo Ademoye is a Nigerian actress known for her roles in Nollywood movies. She began her acting career in 2015 and has since appeared in several films, including “The Ghost and the Tout” (2018), “Your Excellency” (2018), and “New Money” (2018).
She was nominated for an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for her role in “New Money” in 2019. Bimbo Ademoye is considered one of the fast rising actresses in the Nollywood industry and has been praised for her performances in various movies.

CKay added extra flair by joining Olamide for a vibrant performance of their collaboration, Wahala, while Tiwa Savage brought her signature energy to the stage, keeping fans on their feet.
Backstage, entertainers Tunde Perry and Farulee added a dose of humor, further elevating the night’s excitement. Flytime Music Festival 2024 was more than a concert; it was a testament to the unifying power of music and a celebration of the global dominance of Afrobeats.
