Cuban-American singer, Camila Cabello has refuted claims that she sold her soul to “the devil” in exchange for prosperity and notoriety.

Rumours have it that the “Havana” hitmaker “sold” her soul to the Illuminati in order to become famous.

In response, Cabello claimed in a recent interview that she had merely purchased hair colour and denied having sold her soul to the devil.

“I have not sold my soul; I bought hair dye,” Buzzing Pop quoted her as saying.

Reposting the viral report on her X page, Cabello insisted that her dream got her where she is.

“I just had some bleach and a dream,” she wrote.

Camila Cabello rose to prominence as a member of the pop girl group Fifth Harmony, which became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.

In 2016, she broke out from Fifth Harmony to pursue a solo career. The popular Cuban-American singer made an appearance on the remix of Nigerian Afrobeats singer Oxlade’s viral hit song “KU LO SA” in June 2022.

In addition to two Latin Grammy Awards, Cabello has won four American Music Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award for Breakthrough Artist, and five Billboard Music Awards.

Drake Becomes First Artist To Reach 100 Billion Streams On Spotify

Canadian superstar Drake has made history by surpassing 100 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first artist to achieve this monumental milestone.

This achievement was announced by music monitoring company Chart Data via X on Tuesday night.

Drake’s streaming figures are unparalleled, with more than double the streams of the next closest rapper, Eminem. On average, each of Drake’s songs has been streamed 234 million times, while his albums have an average of 5 billion streams each.

The rapper’s most streamed track on the platform is his 2016 hit ‘One Dance’, featuring Nigerian Afro beats sensation Wizkid and British pop star Kyla. ‘One Dance’ has amassed an impressive 3.2 billion streams and holds the Guinness World Record for being the first song to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.

This landmark achievement underscores Drake’s dominant presence in the music industry and his widespread popularity among listeners globally.

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Rema, achieved a significant milestone at the 2024 ASCAP London Music Awards, securing two major accolades for his global hit ‘Calm Down’.

The track was honoured with both the Song of the Year and Top Streaming Song awards.

The awards also recognised the contributions of the song’s co-writers and co-producers, Michael Hunter, known as London, and Andre Vibez, who were credited alongside Rema for their work on ‘Calm Down’.

These latest accolades bring Rema’s total awards tally from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) to three, making him the most awarded Nigerian and African artist in ASCAP’s history. In 2024 alone, Rema has garnered six awards, including a Trends Award in Brazil, an iHeartRadio Music Award, an ASCAP Pop Music Award, and the two recent ASCAP London Music Awards.

Justin Timberlake Arrested After DWI Allegation

Grammy-winning singer, Justin Timberlake was arrested late Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York, on charges stemming from driving while intoxicated (DWI), as reported by local sources.

The incident unfolded in the affluent Hamptons community, with both law enforcement and officials from Sag Harbor Justice Court confirming Timberlake’s arrest and the nature of the charges.

The Suffolk County district attorney’s office has announced that Timberlake is slated for arraignment in court on Tuesday.

This development comes amid Timberlake’s ongoing ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,’ with upcoming performances scheduled in Chicago and New York City.

As of Tuesday morning, June 18, Justin Timberlake, 43, remains in police custody, according to a representative from the Sag Harbor Police Department.

The police are expected to issue a statement later today regarding the incident.

While specific charges have not been confirmed by police to PEOPLE, a source familiar with the matter stated that the “Selfish” singer was arrested for DWI after dining at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor.
