Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Edochie, has finally spoken out after the tragic loss of her son, Kambiichukwu, three months ago.

BIZTELLERS had reported on the passing of 16-year-old Kambolichikwu, May and Yul Edochie’s eldest son, who tragically collapsed while playing football at school.

May, who has stayed silent about this heartbreaking event, took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share a picture of herself with all her children.

Alongside the photo, she penned an emotionally charged message as she mourned the loss of her son.

She wrote “Words are not enough to express our gratitude to you all. In all of these ordeals, we believe that this immeasurable loss is heaven’s gain.

“When you loose a husband, you are called a widow…..
You loose a wife, a widower….
You loose a father, fatherless….
You her Instagram page, loose a mother, motherless…
You loose both parents, an orphan…
You loose a sibling, “forgotten mourner”….

“Other than vilomah which means “against a natural oder”, I cannot find an English word for loosing a child. I do not think there’s any death as intense and painful as loosing one’s child. We are still in inexpressible grief, however, I want you all to know that we are fine by God’s special grace.

“Indeed the uncertainty of tomorrow remains a mystery and some occurrences are unforgettable but we just have to find a way to live with them no matter how painful and difficult they are.

Don’t Touch Interior Minister, Remove Minister Of Power Instead – VDM Tells Tinubu

Published

Prominent social commentator and critic, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has called on President Bola Tinubu to keep the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in his cabinet reshuffle, advocating instead for the removal of Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.

VeryDarkMan made this appeal in a video posted on his Facebook page on Friday, expressing his strong support for Tunji-Ojo’s performance.

In the video, VeryDarkMan said, “I just saw one news that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu wants to reshuffle his cabinet, and I saw the Minister of Interior’s picture, and I am like, what is the honourable minister’s picture doing there? I can beat my chest to say that the minister is working.

“So, President Tinubu, whatever you do, do not change Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. If there is somebody that needs to be swapped or reshuffled, it is the Minister of Power.”

He further criticized the current electricity distribution system that separates citizens into different usage bands, which he believes unfairly benefits wealthier Nigerians.

“He needs to be removed because the segregation between Band A, Band B, and Band C makes no sense. What is the reason for that segregation? Are you trying to say that the poor people are not meant to use light for 24 hours? Which one be say Band A go dey get light pass while Band B no go really dey get light? It makes no sense because we are all Nigerians.

He further reiterated his support for Tunji-Ojo, emphasizing that the Minister of Interior is “making us proud” and should not be affected by the impending cabinet reshuffle.

Verydarkman addes, “So, President Tinubu, with all due respect, do not touch BTO; do not touch the Minister of Interior. He is making us proud.”

James Brown Did Not Visit Bobrisky In Prison As Claimed – Report

Published

on

Investigative findings have revealed that James Brown, who claimed to have visited Nigerian transgender icon Bobrisky in prison, did not meet her during his visit.

This revelation comes after social media user Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, released a phone conversation on Tuesday in which Bobrisky confessed to serving her sentence outside of prison.

In the recording, Bobrisky alleged that she paid ₦15 million to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have her money laundering charges dropped.

These disclosures have raised questions about the credibility of Brown’s claims regarding his purported visit.

The findings indicate that, contrary to Brown’s announcement on June 8, he did not meet Bobrisky at Kirikiri prison.

Sources confirmed that by the time of Brown’s visit, Bobrisky had already been released after serving just three weeks of her six-month sentence.

A source close to James Brown stated that he actually visited another inmate named Vindicate, who had invited him to collaborate on a song from prison. This visit was reportedly approved by prison authorities due to their interest in the project.

The source said, By the time James visited, Bobrisky was no longer in prison.

“James went there to see one guy called Vindicate who had invited him to join in recording a song from prison. The prison authorities liked the idea of a song recorded from prison, so they let him come.

“I don’t know why James lied that he went to see Bobrisky; maybe for clout. I will send you videos of James in prison with the people he went there to see. But have you ever seen just one photo of Bob and James in prison?

The timeline of Brown’s visit aligns with reports indicating that Bobrisky had left Kirikiri by June, allegedly due to a paid arrangement that allowed her to serve her sentence outside prison.

Bribery Bombshell: NBA Calls For Independent Probe Into Bobrisky’s ₦15m Payoff To EFCC Officers

Published

on

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has called for an independent probe into shocking allegations that officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) were paid ₦15 million by controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, to dismiss money laundering charges against him.

These explosive claims were made by blogger Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, sparking widespread public outrage.

NBA President Afam Osigwe, in a bold statement on Wednesday, demanded that any EFCC officers implicated in the alleged bribery be immediately sacked and prosecuted, heightening tensions around the case.

In light of the growing controversy, the NBA has also urged the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, to step in and oversee the independent investigation.

The call for their involvement underscores the gravity of the situation and the need for transparency in handling these serious allegations.

EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede has already launched an internal investigation into the scandal, summoning both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan for questioning.

The allegations stem from a viral video posted by VeryDarkMan, who claims Bobrisky paid the hefty bribe to escape prosecution following his infamous naira-spraying event in April, which resulted in a court sentencing him to six months in prison.

VeryDarkMan further alleged that Bobrisky paid additional millions to enjoy special privileges behind bars.

Bobrisky has denied the accusations, but the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) have been forced to open their own investigations as the controversy deepens, sparking a national conversation about corruption and power.

The NBA statement reads,”The allegation of bribery to reduce or drop charges is very disturbing. An urgent and thorough investigation is needed to determine whether bribes were paid or are sometimes paid to influence the nature of charges brought against defendants in criminal cases.”

“The NBA therefore demands that the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) not only respond to the allegation that Bobrisky did not serve his time in a correctional facility but also provide transparent details on the conditions under which Bobrisky served his sentence.

“If it is proven that he was allowed to serve his sentence outside a Correctional Facility, in breach of the law and a court order, the officers and officials responsible must be prosecuted and dismissed from service.”
