Mike Bamiloye Slams Actors, Directors for Sexual Scene On Movie Sets

Nigerian gospel film actor, Mike Abayomi Bamiloye, has called out his colleagues in the Nigerian film industry for their romantic and sexual behavior on movie sets.
In a series of post on his Instagram page on Thursday, Bamiloye criticized actors and filmmakers for engaging in kissing and romantic scenes with their co-stars, calling it a form of “playing love with a woman in the marketplace.”
He also criticized movie directors for giving actors and actresses roles that involve kissing and romance, and for directing actors to engage in such behavior on set.
In his words: “Hear me, actors and actresses.
“Dear movie-maker, you think you are doing great movies? You think you are making money? You think you are getting popular?
“Dear movie actor, you have acted in many movies in Nigeria and all your achievement in life has been that you have kissed several ladies and romanced many girls on the film set.
“The roles you love to play in movies are roles where men have to kiss you and where you have to play love roles.
“My dear movie actor, honorable Nollywoodian! How many Ladies have you kissed on movie sets?
“Dear Screen Goddess of the Nollywood Empire, how many actors have done love scenes with you in movies?
“Different mouths have kissed your mouth in the name of being professional!
“You have been directed by Lustful directors to romance ladies on a film set before more than twenty people who are behind the camera.
“It is like playing love with a woman in the marketplace! And your moral defenses are breaking down daily before your very eyes.
“You can no longer control your lust! Eh! you! Mr. Man, you are a married man, and you are kissing many ladies and your wife and children are watching you in movies in their homes and you think things will be alright with your wife?
“And you think your Children will be ok in their minds?
He further said, “They see their Mother, having hot romances with other men in movies they watch, and they watch the reactions of their father.
“And you think they will be alright in their heart and mind? You want to be Professional, you want to win Awards!
“You want to be nominated for an Oscar, abi? So you have to subject yourself to many disgusting actions on a movie set!
“You have to allow many other men to climb on you before cameras because your want to be a screen goddess!
“And your husband and children are also watching many of these movies.
“And you think things will be alright for your husband and children?
“How can your wife be alright at home while she watches her husband passionately kissing another lady in a movie?
“What will become of your children later as they have seen their father kissing and romancing other women in movies?
“You think your wife understands? You think your children know your profession.
“You console yourself that they know you are acting as you fondle other ladies’ breasts in broad daylight before the whole world!”
Bamiloye’s comments have sparked a debate within the Nigerian film industry, with some agreeing with his views and others defending the use of romantic and sexual scenes in films as a necessary aspect of storytelling.

Timi Dakolo Accuses Apostle Femi Lazarus Of Charging $150 For Ministry School

The public dispute between renowned singer Timi Dakolo and Pastor Femi Lazarus has intensified, with Dakolo now accusing the Light Nation Church founder of profiting from ministry teachings.
The controversy first erupted when the two clashed over whether gospel artistes should charge fees for performing at church events.
Pastor Lazarus, in a widely circulated video, argued that gospel musicians should not demand payment for ministering, insisting that they should trust God for provision rather than seeking financial gain.

According to him, gospel artistes are not mere entertainers but ministers of the gospel.
Dakolo, however, pushed back against this view, accusing pastors of pressuring gospel singers to offer their services for free.
He defended their right to earn a living, pointing out the financial responsibilities they face.
He also suggested that instead of expecting professional gospel musicians to perform without payment, pastors should focus on developing their church choirs.
Clarifying his stance, Dakolo stated that his response was made out of respect and love. He emphasized that, while he grew up in the church, he does not identify as a gospel artist.
However, he then shifted the discussion by accusing Pastor Lazarus of charging students for enrollment in his ministry school, which provides Christian teachings.
According to Dakolo, the school’s enrollment fee is approximately $150 per student, with about 1,000 students reportedly registered. He backed up his claims by sharing a screenshot that allegedly details the fee structure.
He criticized the pastor for monetizing what he described as a “freely given gift and revelation.”
“All this was said in love and with respect, sir. I am not a gospel artist but a Christian raised in church. Let’s not shift the goal post,” Dakolo stated.
“By your definition, if anyone charges to minister, they are not gospel artists; they are performers. And by that definition, if any preacher charges to teach and minister, they are merchants of hope and motivational speakers too.”
Questioning the structure of the ministry school, he added:
“Sir, you are charging as low as $150 per person for your school of ministry, teaching and preaching Jesus, probably having as much as 1,000 students. Let’s do the maths. You even have premium and standard for God’s house? Are you not selling the gift and revelation freely given to you? Again, let’s not keep shifting the goal post.”

Orezi emphasized that the money was given freely, without him asking or being in a committed relationship with the woman.
“It’s not like I needed money, I have money, but she just gave me. We weren’t dating, but we had something going on. I was shocked, I can’t lie.”
The singer also pointed out that men, especially celebrities, sometimes receive financial gifts from admirers, just as attractive women often benefit from admiration.
“A lot of artistes enjoy things like that, it’s a normal thing. The same way pretty women enjoy pretty privileges; men enjoy it too. In fact, there was a friend I had in university whose school fees and provisions were handled by a woman. It’s a topic swept under the carpet a lot; women do things for men a lot.”
