Fans of Award winning singer Davido has begin to drag fast – rising artist online after the former uncle Ademola Adeleke was declared the winner of Osun just concluded election.

Portable had declared his support for the incumbent governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola.

A few days before the election, he joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) and claimed that the ruling party had paid him to campaign for Oyetola in Osun state and on all social media platforms.

As requested by the APC, Portable posted a video on Instagram showing him endorsing Oyetola.

In another picture of him and his supporters, he wrote: “Akoi APC, Akoi Oyetola Lekan si. 4+4=8. O ti lo.”

While it appeared like moral support for Davido to pitch for Adeleke in his political ventures, Portable sees his own adventure as a way of making money and doubling his hustle as the slang always goes.

However, the 2022 Osun governorship election has been declared to have been won by Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Adeleke polled PDP 403,371 to defeat Oyetola and the APC with 375,027 votes, while Lasun Yusuf of Labour Party, LP polled 2,729.

As a result of this, Portable is currently under attack as people accuse him of betraying Davido, who gave him the boost to fame.

‘Return The Tithe’, Charly Boy Calls Out Pastor Adeboye After Apology

Published

on

Veteran Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has reacted to Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s recent apology regarding his stance on tithing.

Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), had previously claimed that those who do not pay tithes would not make it to heaven, a statement he recently retracted.

During a sermon, Pastor Adeboye apologised, saying, “I’m apologizing for saying, ‘If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t make it to heaven.’ I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible. What the Bible says is, ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God.’”

However, Charly Boy, known for his outspoken nature, expressed dissatisfaction with Adeboye’s apology. In a strongly worded post, Charly Boy stated that the apology was meaningless unless Adeboye returned the tithes collected from followers based on the original claim.

Charly Boy wrote, “Your apology don’t mean shit unless you promise to return the tithe money them give you for mumu people wey wan bribe dia way to heaven.”

He went on to criticise certain church practices and the perceived hypocrisy of some church leaders, saying, “I truly believe that a lot of the fakest people are found in churches… Stop giving ur CONGREGATION ridiculous Lamba’s. There is nothing worse than a fault-finding finger-pointing Pastor who is as fake as the blings of a wanna-be artist.”

Charly Boy has long been known for his controversial takes on societal and religious issues, and his latest comments have sparked reactions across social media.
