In September 2021, the controversial actress lost her mother, Madam Gloria Obasi Sunday.

Nkechi hosted a gathering on Sunday to commemorate her mother’s passing one year earlier with family members, relatives, and some of her pals.

Online footage of Blessing handing out parcels with the inflatable male organ as a keepsake has now gone viral.

She proceeded to call on single or divorced women in the crowd, charging them to make do with the sex toy.

“Help yourself if you don’t have a man. If you know you’re single and proud, let me see your hands,” Blessing said.

Nkechi, however, elected to spice things up by including different types of dildos in the gift bag.

One of the guests at the event shared a clip of her gift bag and the different sex toys in it on social media and it instantly generated attention.

It’s however, uncertain if the souvenirs containing gift bags were given to male guests as well.

However, Nkechi has been slammed by social media users for sharing sex toy as souvenirs at her mother’s remembrance on Sunday.

A tweep @funnydafid said: Nkechi Blessing you can do better than that..Sharing sex toy to ladies and bloggers pushing it here and there is very bad for the growing ladies,we need to know how best to influence our society right and stop chasing clout or staying relevant on socials with awful things.

A tweep, Warepanor Sammy said, “Nkechi Blessing has no respect for the dead, she is insensitive, has no honour for her mother and has no value for life.”

The Only AyoIfe slammed the actress for announcing the gift in the presence of a minor, tweeting, “If no be say that Nkechi Blessing is a sick…, how can you display dildos like that and share as souvenirs in a party where kids are present?”

Tunrayo went spiritual as he said, “Masturbating is a huge sin and I feel most sins have now become normalised; this wouldn’t normalise it in the eyes of God. Nkechi Blessing has displayed the highest level of stupidity a woman of her age can ever do. Makes me wonder if she told anyone about this before doing it.”

Sir David Onyemaizu tweeted, “This Nkechi Blessing is just another nuisance in the Nollywood movie industry. Imagine sharing dildos in an event where minors are present. Goes to show you that being a celebrity is not equal to common sense. There are certain things that common sense just tells you.”

Another tweep, Bella Okagbue said, “To think Nkechi Blessing ‘mourned’ her mum to the point of fainting during the burial last year, one year later she wants others to ‘moan’ with dildos. Women influencing women I see.”

@unik_spice said: “Well I’m not surprised. Nkechi blessing’s mum was the king of girls those days in Abule Egba. Anyone who knows pere city can relate. Sharing dildos on her mum’s remembrance is nothing new. No be today nkechi begin dey craze.”

Reacting to the critics, she said, “My own mother that gave birth to me died on September 22nd 2021…23rd 2022 I had her quiet remembrance and prayers, went to the streets and gave out food and water, nobody Kuku hear anything…25th was my mother’s birthday hence the cake and a little party to host few friends…not like you all deserve any explanations what I choose to do with my own life… Cus when we dey suffer/hungry I no see any of una… So make all of una try rest.”

“SHALOM, I saw comments of people that have forgotten their parents that are still alive and I couldn’t stop laughing. My dear go back home and take care of your parents Cus na hypocrites all of una be.”
