Portable Reignites Feud With Baby Mama Ashabi
Controversial Nigerian street-pop artist Portable has once again publicly clashed with his baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple, just weeks after the couple welcomed their second child together.
The singer, known for his unfiltered social media presence, recently accused Ashabi of showing him what he claims is “fake love” and alleged that her relationship with him was fueled by a desire for fame.
The dispute resurfaced after Ashabi posted a self-praise video on Instagram, in which she described herself as a “blessed, happy, determined, peaceful, and grateful woman.”
Portable, seemingly triggered by her words, responded sharply in the comment section.

He claimed that Ashabi’s intentions in their relationship were insincere and hinted that her decision to have a child with him was primarily motivated by her “quest for fame.”
Portable’s comment read, “You dey look for fame that is why you born for star. No dey use your own fake love dey spoil real love for me.” He further added a controversial remark, saying, “Your leg no good oo, you need prayer.”
The ongoing drama between Portable and Ashabi has continued to capture the attention of their followers. The pair unfollowed each other on social media platforms in early 2024 after Ashabi appeared on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast, where she shared insights about their relationship.
The recent exchange highlights the tumultuous nature of their relationship, as Portable continues to make headlines with his public feuds and outspoken social media posts.

“Don’t involve me in Burna Boy & Speed Darlington’s case; because I collected a diamond from him doesn’t mean I’m his close adviser,” Kuti said.
The Afrobeat singer went on to highlight the irony in the allegations, pointing out that Diddy, whom Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of associating with, played a role in making Speed Darlington famous.
He explained, “Diddy was even the one who made Speed Darlington popular. He reposted ‘Bangdadang’ which made the song popular. I have done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song.”
Seun Kuti’s remarks have since sparked discussions among fans and followers of the ongoing saga, as the fallout between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington continues to unfold.
