There’ll Be No Me Without D’Prince – Rema
Nigerian pop sensation Rema has expressed his gratitude to his mentor and benefactor, Charles Enebeli, better known as D’Prince, in a recent Twitter post.
The Afrorave star acknowledged that his successful music career wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the Jonzing World boss, who signed him to the subsidiary label of Mavin Records in 2019.
In his post, Rema shared a photo with D’Prince and expressed that without the Mavin Records boss, he wouldn’t exist as a musician.
Rema wrote: “Without D’prince they’ll be no me. @DPRINCEMAVIN. (sic)”

Rema rose to fame with the release of “Dumebi” and has since established a large fanbase with his unique Afrorave sound, which combines Afrobeats with influences of Arabian and Indian music.
His debut EP, Rema, was released shortly after signing with Jonzing World, and one of its songs, was even included on former President Barack Obama’s summer playlist.
After two more successful EPs, Rema released his debut album, Rave & Roses, in March 2022, featuring collaborations with 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, and Yseult. The album made a strong impact on the US Billboard Afrobeats Chart, charting 10 songs in its debut week.
One of the singles from the album, “Calm Down”, featuring a sample from Nigerian artist Crayon’s track “So Fine”, continued to gain popularity and even received a remix with Selena Gomez that debuted at number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The 22-year-old star has been making waves in the music industry and continues to captivate audiences with his unique sound and artistry.

Popular Nollywood, actor Charles Okocha, widely known by his stage names Igwe2pac and “Phenomenal,” has announced that he is set to tie the knot with his fiancée.
Okocha revealed the exciting news on social media on Tuesday.

The actor, who has two children from previous relationships, shared a series of heartwarming photos with his fiancée on his Instagram account, along with the wedding hashtag #MICHARLES2024, confirming that the wedding will take place later this year.

In an earlier interview, the actor expressed doubts about entering into matrimony, citing the high rate of divorce as a major concern.
“People you look up to are getting divorced… how do you want me to get into this marriage thing?” he said, explaining his reluctance.
“The truth is I have never been married in my life and I am a happy man. You and I know what is going on these days. You see a couple married for a couple of years and next, they are divorced,” he continued.
“People you see as role models are getting divorced, and when you see them you are like, what is going on? These are people you have been looking up to and now they are divorced, how then do you want me to get into this marriage thing?” he added
Despite these reservations, Okocha now seems ready to embrace marriage, a decision that has his fans celebrating the unexpected turn.
